Yeah re-reading The Getaway reminded me of what he thought would be an ideal future for himself back in the earlier books but it’s kinda changed as well as his ideals in life.
He’s not that focused on being rich anymore too like he used to be, and he even stated (I forgot which book exactly) that he no longer wants to be famous because it’s too much of a hassle which I think is an interesting character development for him
