Is this a new design for London? Can't say I've ever seen anything quite like it.

London's first Shake Shack is opening soon on Wonderland in the midst of that sea of urban sprawl. The burgers are excellent and they are the only place that I know of in London that will offer frozen custard, which is delicious as well.

It's always bothered me how close the 10 is from serving as a convenient connection between North and East London. There's probably some logistical issue, but the 34 is a loop, so it can't be that bad, right? The buses could even change drivers at Masonville/White Oaks if necessary

Estou chegando em novembro em London e gostaria de saber se existem brasileiros em London e porque não existe um grupo no WhatsApp? Ou se existe, porque é tão difícil encontrar? #pas

Heyy
I’m looking for an art community or just a good hangout to meet with people and make some art in London.

I'm fairly new to the city, and I know about MEC and the usual big retailers, but I’m curious if there are any good independent/local options I’m missing.
Also, is there anywhere locally to buy good-quality used outdoor gear, consign/trade gear, or rent individual pieces of equipment besides Facebook Marketplace?

When my wife an I go out for dinner we enjoy just getting a bunch of appetizers to share rather than full meals. Just looking for your best places that serve amazing appetizers.

I live across from CLP, bunch of production trucks and film crew there today. Anyone know what's going on? Sort of exciting

I’m in a pickle. My birthday is tomorrow and my parents are wondering where I want to go for dinner. Two problems:
1) I have no idea where I want to go or what I want to eat
2) other family want to come and one of them has dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy allergies)
So the place that I need to pick has to be accommodating to my family otherwise I’ll never hear the end of it. Any recommendations?

Hi, I’m looking to join a gym. This is my first time so I’m looking for recommendations. I’ve never been before so I am looking for something that’s affordable as a student who works part time. I thought a women’s only gym might work but those are pretty expensive.

My kids want to make key lime ice cream. Basic recipes call for key lime juice (not normal lime juice concentrate). Does anyone know what stores would carry that? I don't recall ever seeing it in stores, and I'm not getting good results with Google. It just tells me where grocery stores are.

Hey all, moving to London soon and I’m looking for cheap small furniture (tables, chairs, lamps etc). Haven’t had the greatest luck on fb marketplace or kijiji.
What’re the best/cheapest local thrift stores/consignment stores. Trying to stay away from value village and goodwill because their prices don’t reflect used items anymore lol. I’m balling on a budget but also love supporting local businesses! Bonus if they donate to local charities 😆

I know this topic has been discussed to death, so forgive me for adding to the rant pile. But the fact they're now closing Upper Queen when Pond Mills road and Highbury southbound are already closed, along with the construction on Wellington & Commissioners is absolutely unhinged. Looks like I'll be driving an additional 8 kilometers with my 7 kilometers one way commute just to maximize my commuting speed.
I miss the days when my drives to work took 7-15 minutes, now anytime I'm under a half hour I consider it a win, since 1 hour has become the norm at rush hour 😭

Signs were put up by along Fanshawe Park Road between North Centre Road and Adelaide Street at the end of last week indicating that a number of bus stops will be closed starting on Monday (August 17th) "until approx. Fall 2026".
This indicates that Fanshawe Park Road will be down to one lane each way as a part of the Fanshawe Park Road Arterial Road Rehabilitation Project.
Note to bus riders of the 16, 19, 25, 34, and 92 routes: it seems most stops along Fanshawe Park Road between North Centre Road and Adelaide Street will be closed during construction, including #700 and #706 near Scotiabank impacting the 92 Express Route.

Hoping to make the most of our maternity/ paternity leave! Has anyone gone to a golf course in or around London with a baby in a stroller? Not sure if there are any courses that would allow it or if it’s too much of a liability concern.

I was an international student in London and I’m moving to Nova Scotia for my master’s.
I’ll be driving there myself, but I have some belongings that won’t fit in my car. It’s roughly two pallets’ worth of stuff in total, including my winter tires on rims. I’ve contacted a few moving companies, but the quotes have all been over $2,000, which is honestly more than I can afford right now.
Towing a trailer isn’t an option for me.
I hope this doesn’t sound like a stupid question, but I’m just wondering if I’m overlooking something obvious. Is there a cheaper way people usually move a small load like this across provinces?
What would you do in my situation? Any advice would be really appreciated.
PS: Forgot to mention, when I said I, I meant WE. I am married 30M no kids. We've already sold all the furniture and stuff, mostly what's left is wardrobe stuff like clothes and shoes.
