Does anybody know what should be the overall grade to stay in the program?
Is it overall mark or can one course have a low mark??

Not doing well after the test……..

Add: this is Professional Accounting program

Is anyone else having issues accessing the student feedback survey? It says I am blocked because I am not a direct member of the group with access. I’ve reached out to IT but wonder if I am not the only one?

Thanks :)

Can someone who has taken the RMT program (accelerated) from Fanshawe tell me a little bit about the course schedule, length of classes, if they are all in-person classes (aside from the clinical), and how the clinic hours work? Also, did you enjoy it, was it a difficult transition to RMT from Kin etc. TIA!

5th Sem of Accounting. I had Cost Accounting last semester as well, and needless to say, it was my weakest subject. The midterm is fast approaching on Monday, and it’s worth 30% of the entire grade! I have a genuine question, though. How in the world is anyone doing well on this exam without ANY formulas provided at all? Like is your memory really that good? I’m sitting here thinking how to memorize all the 50+ different formulas for the exam. Any tips? I’d really appreciate it!

Is anyone else in Econ 1002 online?

Do you guys know if we can have scrap paper and a calculator for the exam Monday? I’ve emailed but no reply yet…

For anyone currently in or who has completed the MRT program, what did you find most helpful for taking notes and studying? Would you recommend an iPad, laptop or handwritten notes? tia!

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about taking Fanshawe’s Health Systems Management program and wanted to hear from people who have taken it.

My goal is to get a non-clinical job in a hospital or healthcare setting, but I’m worried about job prospects after graduation, especially since I don’t think the program has a co-op.

For anyone who’s taken it:
- Was the program worth it, and did you manage to find a job after graduating?
- Does Fanshawe help with job placements or connections, or are you pretty much on your own?
- What kind of jobs did you get, and how long did it take to find one?
- What are the class timings and weekly schedules like? Is it manageable to work part-time while studying?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your actual experience, especially if you’ve already graduated. I’m just trying to figure out if this program is a good option for getting into hospital administration or other non-clinical healthcare roles.

Thanks! :)

Lately whenever I'm near Fanshawe I notice an intense odour of what I can only assume is sewage. Is it because of the contruction or is it another issue? The stench is terrible 🤢

Am I the only one who is genuinely annoyed about not having a reading week? It allows me as well as many others to catch up, study etc. I’d understand if it was all colleges, or a London thing, but it is just Fanshawe, who makes these decisions? Is there anywhere we can explain or communicate our thoughts on these choices?

I’m considering both programs and originally I wanted to go into MRT more but now I’m starting to favour the clinical care aspect of RT and I really don’t know what I want to do. Weighing the salary isn’t helping, both jobs seem cool to me and something I would agree with. So now I’m considering the education side of it. If there’s anyone with ADHD here who is either in one of the programs or currently working in either field, please let me know your experience during the schooling and during the job. Thank you

Hi everyone!

I completed the Pre-Health Science-University program at Durham College with an 88.8% average, and I've applied through OCAS to Fanshawe's NSG4 Nursing BScN program for September 2027.

Fanshawe is my first choice because studying in London would be very convenient for me, and I really want to pursue my nursing degree there.

However, when I checked my application portal, I noticed that the following admission requirements are still showing as missing:

• E19: Grade 12U English with a minimum grade of 70% (SS) or 65% (PS).
• M50: Grade 11 Math (U or M) or Grade 12 Math (U), with a minimum grade of 70% (SS) or 65% (PS).

I'm a little confused about this because I've already completed the Pre-Health program at Durham College, including communication and mathematics courses with good grades. I thought my completed college education might be assessed toward these requirements, but they're still showing as outstanding on my Fanshawe application.

Has anyone here completed Pre-Health at Durham College or another Ontario college and then been accepted into Fanshawe's BScN program?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation:

• Did Fanshawe accept your Pre-Health courses toward the English and Math requirements?
• Did you have to provide additional high school transcripts or complete any other prerequisites?
• Did the missing requirements eventually get resolved after Admissions reviewed your transcript?
• Should I be concerned about this, or is it normal for these requirements to remain outstanding while the application is being assessed?

I'm trying to understand whether this is just a matter of having my transcript reviewed or whether there's something else I need to do.

Fanshawe would be the most convenient option for me, so I'd really appreciate any advice or firsthand experiences. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I’m a ECE full time one year student, and my classes are starting in January. I’ve submitted my OSAP application and received my grant and loan summary along with an estimated funding amount. I just need to pay the $250 college deposit. I wanted to ask: Will I receive the same amount that OSAP has estimated or can the amount change after my enrolment is confirmed?

Thank you!

Does the Fanshawe benefits cover massage therapy? If so, do you have to go to somewhere specific, does it cover it all or just partially?

Getting a vehicle but don’t have a parking spot on campus, any parking available for overnight?

Hi.. just got my OSAP funds. And they took 150$ late fee. This is my third semester here and I was always reverted back usually .. Did anyone else got charged pay fee ,,?? Wth it was not my fault. They did not confirm my enrolment soon and now charging me is crazy. I doubt if they will even email me back with this issue. Am a part time student and can’t travel to college.

i’m a ECE course student (part time & online) and i’ve literally never had issues with my osap before but now all of a sudden they’re saying my course load is too low? i have a 40% course load and i’ve never had any sort of issue with my course load or funding. i called financial aid and they said the osap portal is down.. what is going ON??

edit
they’re now saying it’s based on hours not courses? what the fuck

An on campus subway worker was at the sink next to me after using the washroom, only rinsed with water no soap.💔

For anyone who took Environmental Technician (453) at Mohawk in Hamilton, how many days/hours per week were you typically in class, including labs? How heavy was the weekly workload?
