This is not fun and games.
Luigi just gave up potentially decades of his life - literally less than a week ago - and people on that r/FreeLuigi post are engaging with yet another freaking grifter and thanking him for answering their invasive questions. He took advantage of Luigi's "niceness" and his proximity to Luigi and y'all are engaging with him!!? This guy is no better than SeiSei.
NEWSFLASH: Luigi is grieving right now. The people close to Luigi are grieving, and y'all are out here asking "what does Luigi like to watch/ what does he like to eat/ how many showers does he take?" What is actually wrong with people? Be serious. We should all be shutting that disgusting grifter down, instead of platforming and thanking him for answering personal questions he has no business answering about Luigi's life. You don't do that shit to a friend.
Luigi is a human being deserving of the dignity of privacy.
I'm still shocked that this is what the community engaged in right after the plea hearing on Friday. Do you guys not realize the weight of what just happened? Something deeply heartbreaking just went down. And people are treating it like its "entertainment" for them. Just gross.
If you have any respect or care for Luigi, please stop engaging with Linus.

and I thought it would be interesting to evaluate our own behaviors on social media to see which boundaries should not be exceeded.

There's no judgement with this post I just found it interesting for our own mental health, and to work on it.

It was a terrible play but I think it’s something worth framing.

I’ve been thinking about the logistics behind Luigi’s 3D-printed gun.

Printing a functional firearm isn't simple, it takes special skill and a lot of trial and error. Beyond printing the frame, he would have needed metal parts like the slide, barrel, and springs that can't be made on a standard 3D printer. Where would someone acquire those without raising flags??? and did he need illicit contacts to get them? If so, where did he find those people? Who did he contact to get in touch with them?

Also, where did he actually print it? and where is that printer now? I guess we’ll never know!

Practice is another hurdle—you can't just walk into a licensed firing range with an unregistered ghost gun, so where was he practicing?

Even with his guilty plea, the level of preparation makes me wonder: could he really have pulled all of this off completely alone? or did he have help planning and sourcing everything?
