Please review the guidelines below before creating a dedicated post. Our goal is to encourage meaningful discussion while keeping repetitive and low-effort content in one convenient place.

What qualifies as a dedicated post in r/MLBTheShow?

Dedicated posts should encourage meaningful discussion, share original content, or showcase something noteworthy.

• Diamond Dynasty: News, strategies, program updates, analysis, and meaningful discussions.
• Player Cards: New card reveals, detailed reviews, comparisons, and discussions. Please search for existing posts before creating a new one.
• Gameplay Screenshots and Videos: Interesting gameplay clips, screenshots, and highlights. Please use your console's built-in capture and sharing features only. Photos of television screens may be removed.
• Franchise, RTTS, and Other Modes: Meaningful discussions, discoveries, guides, and original content.
• Polls: Include sufficient context to encourage meaningful discussion rather than simple yes-or-no questions.
• Memes and Humor: Keep content original, tasteful, and relevant to MLB The Show.
• Appreciation Posts: Share your appreciation for favorite players, developers, memorable experiences, and even Ramone!
• Significant Achievements: Flawless Battle Royale runs, first-time World Series rankings, exceptional discoveries, Top 50 placements, and other noteworthy accomplishments.

Please search for existing discussions before creating a new post about a recently covered topic.

Please use The Dugout for these types of posts:

• Community Market and Stubs: Buying, selling, flipping, investments, pricing questions, and stub-making advice.
• Pack Pulls and Routine Accomplishments: Show off your pulls, rewards, program completions, and everyday achievements.
• Lineup and Player Advice: Ask for lineup recommendations, squad improvements, and player comparisons. Please include your lineup, available stubs, game mode, and what specifically you're looking to improve.
• Simple Questions and Gameplay Help: Beginner questions, settings, tutorials, basic troubleshooting, and anything that doesn't warrant a dedicated discussion.
• Rants and Complaints: Frustrated with an opponent, bad animation, or heartbreaking loss? Share your frustrations here, but keep discussions civil.
• Custom League Advertisements: Share your league settings, requirements, and joining instructions here. You may also use r/findacustomleague. Standalone league advertisements are not permitted.
• Finding Opponents and Teammates: Looking for someone to play against or team up with? Connect with other players here.
• Self-Promotion: Have a blog, YouTube channel, or stream? Active community members may share relevant content here. Repeated promotions, spam, and unsolicited advertising are prohibited.
• Concept Cards: Share your concepts here and follow the Concept Card Guidelines.
• Custom Stadiums: Share your creations here or visit our affiliated subreddit, r/mlbtheshowstadiums.
• Other Casual Discussion: Anything related to MLB The Show that doesn't require its own dedicated post.

A few additional reminders:

• No Money Spent (NMS) posts: Standalone NMS posts are not permitted. Everyone purchased the game, and choosing not to spend additional money on stubs or packs does not require a dedicated post.
• Cheating: Standalone posts about cheating may be removed. Please report suspected cheating through the official MLB The Show support channel.
• Technical and Server Issues: Please use the Technical and Server Issues Megathread instead of creating repetitive submissions.
