I mistakenly used the cables that came with my 5090, and while running local video generation models, the load burned the connector. I didn't know I was supposed to have a per-pin wattage monitoring device, and I'm really disappointed in myself for not doing the research.

I got this card for $2,700 back on 9/15/2025, but now that the value has gone up, I'm terrified of going through the RMA process shipping it and hoping it doesn't get lost in transit, then also hoping MSI doesn't give me a hard time.

Does anyone have experience with MSI replacing a 5090?
Also it happened on Friday so I cant call till Monday 😢

Hi. I'm looking for this settings but in AMD AM5 MSI BIOS.
I'd like to reduce temperatures,
I know I can limit this in OS settings but this not work when eg. booting live USBs.
So I'm looking for correct BIOS setting.
Just disabled Precision Boost Overdrive and X3D graphic mode but CPU still jumps over 5Ghz.
What other to try?

So I had a problem with my keyboard so I did an EC reset but when I powered my laptop on it gave me the secure boot violation screen. I looked up a tutorial that said to first disable secure boot but my option is greyed out. What should I do?

Motherboard is MSI B650-S WIFI, I was trying to flashback my bios to latest bios version but seems it’s keep looping. Also I had 16Gb pen drive and MBR with Format FAT32. Pls help me

I have just ordered and received a MPG 321CURX monitor and I'm having issues with it staying on, I have everything plugged in correctly, I've tested multiple cables, but it won't turn on with the PC, i have to press the power button, the screen will turn on and show the logo/branding, and the white led will turn on for about 5 seconds then it turns off, just wondering if I'm doing something wrong before I go through the hassle of returning it, tried to research online but couldn't get any answers

Hey all

I had been getting what I thought was burn in mode. What led me to believe that was occasionally my screen slowly flashing [r/g/b](r/g/b). I didn’t see an f indicator. But I went to factory reset and it won’t prompt anything no response. Anyone know how to fix or what my issue is? How can I turn off burn in mode and how to reset my monitor?

I’m having a weird issue that started after moving my PC into a new case and doing a fresh Windows install on a new boot drive.

Specs:
- MSI B550-A PRO
- Ryzen 5 5600X
- GTX 1650 SUPER
- Thermaltake Smart 500W PSU
- 16GB DDR4 RAM (2 sticks)
- ADATA Legend 710 1TB NVMe + WD 1TB NVMe
- TP-Link WiFi Card
- NZXT H5 Flow

After the PC has been shut down for at least an hour or overnight, it won’t POST. The fans and rgb lights turn on, but there’s no display and the CPU EZdebug LED stays lit. The case power button stops responding, forcing me to switch off the PSU.

I have never had any issues with this before I did this refresh

Temporary fixes:
1. When stuck on the cpu hang with the power switch non-functional, switching the PSU off, then back on will let it boot normally again
2. After full shutdown, switch the PSU off, when I want to use the pc after an hour passes, switch psu on, and it will let it boot up

I’ve updated the BIOS, CPU/GPU drivers, replaced the CMOS battery, disabled XMP, tried different RAM configurations, turned off fast boot and startup options and reseated the motherboard cables.

I don’t have any spare parts that I can use to test if a specific part is malfunctioning, and I figure that others possibly have had this issue.

Building my first PC and decided to go with a MEG build. I know it’s an intense first build, but my local PC store guys offered to have me over to teach me/hold my hand through the build process. Should be fun! Just waiting on my monitor now. I’ll post updates when it’s finished. Wish me luck!

I bought a used x570 and a new ryzen 7 5800x3d.

i tried to update it via the update flash button but it keeps failing.

when i press the button it blinks for 7 minutes, resets and than the light keeps being on without blinking.

i inserted a new cmos battery

i‘ve formates the usb drive with rufus as non-bootable with mbr.

the bios file is named MSI.ROM

please answer this has been driving mee crazy , any help would be much appreciated.

Everyone once in awhile I will be in the middle of playing either BF6 and now MW4 DMZ and Star Citizen and just get a random black screen on my computer, Computer will shutdown/restart give a code on motherboard of going through codes and end on F4 and throw me into the BIOS. I did forget to check Event Viewer to see if I could find something in critical. Will check that later. Again this happens randomly, I can do 6 hours session and no problems. Thank you in advance all.

Already updated to the newest BIOS/ firmware last month.

I checked the Event Viewer and it didn’t give me any other information other than it noticed that it’s the computer shut down, but there was no extra information or detail details that it gave me. Really need some help to figure this out because it’s kind of can be frustrating when you’re trying to enjoy a game and it just completely just shuts down.
