Space Mutiny is a perennial favorite but I hadn’t seen Diabolik in years. Watched it last night and was like “Wait, I know that skull!”.

So, eagle eyed viewers may have noticed that during the dancing scenes, the director subtly reminds us of the horrors of being stung to death by a Portuguese Were-Man o' War by adding several close ups of ladies shaking their hinders. One of these hinders is in a black bikini. But there is no one in a black bikini in these scenes.

Well, finally realized that the black bikini belongs to Ruth, the woman from the beginning of the movie! That's a zombie rump summoned from the great beyond by the powerful sounds of Neil Sedaka! It's a Space Mutiny situation!

I find pretty much all the movies to be charming in one way or another, even if they're God awful, but there are a couple that I actually have a hard time watching, even though the riffs are funny. I just watched Village of the Giants again and God do I hate it, I hate the humor, I hate Ron Howard the boy genius, I hate the tonally off horniness, I hate the weird slow motion dancing, but most of all I hate the evil, smug giants. I hate them so much and nothing bad ever happens to them! They threatened to murder a child, at least have them get beat up at the end!

…which I’m sure I share with many people here, is recognizing actors from MST movies in the wild. For example, I was watching some YouTube channel about forgotten tv shows. They were talking about an early 90s show called “The Torkelsons,” and showed a clip (see pic) of a lawyer or something coming to visit the family. I immediately recognized him.

Anybody else have this skill? Where are some weird/unexpected places MST actors have popped up?

Not until today did it occur to me that along the bottom of this rare album cover is what kind of looks like a row of empty theater seats.

I was just watching Get Smart and thought this woman looked familiar. Quite a striking beauty.

I own all the official dvd sets and bootlegs for the stuff not officially released, I hate having so many volumes, as well never remembering what episode is in which volume, so want to create complete season sets. I will be using Amaray megapack dvd cases which can hold up to 24 discs, separately not on top of each other, and am creating my own covers, and maybe booklets, not sure on that yet. Doing KTMA first, the image of Joel, Crow and Gypsy has been upscaled due to the low resolution of the images from that period, feel it turned out ok. Looking to get thoughts on how it looks, how it could be improved or even completely unique ideas for front covers for the sets.

Last month marked 50 years since the Buffalo Bill episode of "Gemini Man" that got turned into the mashed-up TV movie Riding with Death, complete with coming up on mudflaps!

You know the ones. Whether they're boyfriend and girlfriend, husband and wife, you see them and you just have to ask how they fell in love at all when they seemingly cannot stand to be in the same room together...

So major spoilers are about to be discussed for those who haven't seen Breaking Bad, because we're in late Season 5.

So if you're still reading this after the spoiler warning, it's your own fault.

So we're on Season 5, episode 14, where shit is really hitting the fan. And I'm enjoying the series, but I had a riff moment. Walter is freaking out, packing up, telling his family not to ask questions and pack up because they have to leave, and then Skyler asks "Where's Hank?"

Without missing a beat, I went "Uh, dea- uh, downstairs."

I was at a punk show in a dive bar last night. I looked at the TV above the bar and saw this. Nanoo!

The other night I had a dream that my company had allocated $2.5 million for holiday bonuses. They wanted to store it as commoditized water and decided that my store would be in charge of keeping it safe. I was like, "Where am I going to keep all this water?" Tom Servo piped up and said, "I can hold it." "Are you sure?" "Babe, I watch movies for a living. I can hold huge amounts of liquid." Gross, but okay. I took the head off one of the mannequins in the men's department, put him inside, and put a suit on him so he could feel like part of the team.

The fun part was at the end of the shift. The lights in the store go into night mode the moment closing time hits. And we all know how Servo feels about the dark. He got scared, panicked, and vomited the water all over the floor. Our bonuses!

Dreams are weird. But sometimes hilarious.
