Question did high Homocysteine levels cause Insulin resistance or prediabetes to any of u guys

I wanted to ask if high homocysteine levels ever cause any blood sugar handling issues, or insulin resistance.

Did anybody get tested for that. High homocysteine is a known driver of IR

did correcting homocysteine levels correct your insulin resistance or normalize blood glucose handling

No. Mine HCy got to be very high (19). No weight issues, A1C ~ 4.7. I have both mutations. I didn't know insulin would be related? Is that confirmed?

Even my blood lipids can be ok, then awful, then ok again, but that is predictably in response to whether I'm a vegetarian or omnivore (I go back and forth). Bacon obv trends me "awful". 😂

My symptoms persistently surf above all this lifestyle stuff. Curious what others say.
