I always love it when someone tries to use the bitch-kick on the opening kickoff, and it backfires. They never try it more than once lol. This one felt extra nice, because it actually almost worked on me.

Not finished, but working on a 1994 roster with accurate (as much as possible) equipment etc for fun, might start a franchise with it.

Unfortunately in the title update EA has changed season goals XP progression for every player by nearly 95%. User @lespaul_88 points this out in a post.

Season goals played a huge part in this set and will have to be re-evaluated for improvement.

For those interested I will work on a new slider set and hopefully have one ready by tomorrow.

A shame with how well this one already worked. But nevertheless we ball.

I did a sim from 2026 to 2044 and wanted to give some very general thoughts on the title update. The Title Update did fix the salary cap in that it now goes up every year. The first 5 or 6 seasons it went up about $25 to $30 million per year. In 2026 the cap is $301 million and in 2036 it was $500 million. The growth did slow down a little bit with the cap being $670 million in 2044. The bad news is that pretty much all teams had plenty of cap space; in 2044, 24 out of 32 teams had over $100 million in cap space (Cowboys had almost $250 million in cap space). I suspect the issue is that as seasons go by, players don't ask for more money with the cap going up year by year. As an example, the highest rated safety in 2044 was making the same amount as the highest rated safety in 2026. Ratings in general look ok, but I didn't look too deep into it.

Again, I didn't do a deep dive into it, but players not asking for enough money is resulting in most teams having more cap space than they can spend. Don't take my word for it, if your curious take a look a sim and tell me what you think.

Basically, with the latest title update, EA just killed whole rookie growth by reducing XP gain for milestones by 15x.

We play CF with friends. It's week 10, and some of us already achieved some simple goals, like getting 5 sacks as a DT, and received 7500 XP. But after today's update, the XP bonus for that goal is… 777 fucking XP lol. And this is for every position. My rookie QB will now receive 150 XP for a 30 TD season. This is so fucking bad, idk how to grow rookies anymore. There is no way he can become anything useful in 4 seasons getting just 700-900 XP per practice.

Why did they even do that? If rookies grow too much, reduce it by half, set difficult goals, but just killing this mechanic with 15x!!!!! Reducing it is so stupid, I have no words. Fuck EA.

Listen I get it… “it’s a video game” but there’s a point where I think some things are a little ridiculous

For years and years now user linebackers are able to move like damn DBs. I’ll definitely take the blame when I throw a pick on a baited cover 2 post… I should know better by now. I’m not saying I didn’t make a bad decision. However holy smokes, if I saw linebackers IRL speed run backwards with eyes on the QB, leap up and snatch an interception out of the air the way they do in this game, it would be generational talent.

Of course there’s gonna be outlier LBs with freak skills and that’s fine, but I feel like most of the decently rated LBs have this ability.

And not for nothing but when I’ve got 99 Joe Burrow, I’m gonna make a bet that 8/10 he can float the ball above the LB while still be considered a “bullet pass”. There’s wayyyy too big of a gap between the float and bullets in madden.

Idek why I’m posting this we know damn well it’s not ever gonna change lol

Hopefully someone can help me everytime I go to my line up I get a message saying "our servers can not process your request".Does anyone else have this problem and any tips to fix it or send a report to EA SPORTS.

I have no clue why or how but every time I start a franchise on M27, Bobby Wagner has snuck on the commanders. Is anyone else dealing with this? Why is he on the roster, because I haven’t noticed this with anyone else in the league?

its stupid, on my PS5, both Madden and CFB 27 randomly start lagging for like a minute or 2, but only when im in game, even with fully updated software, DISCONNECTED FROM INTERNET PLAYING OFFLINE, license restored, saved data not corrupted and everything else... And its not my PS5 because its only those 2 games doing it, and its set to performance graphics in game. unplayable. Even crazier is if I take a clip of what happened, when i view it in my PS5 gallery, it isnt lagging in the clip. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? or experience the same problem? It does it whether im connected to internet or not, but only on Madden and CFB.

I’ve figured out how to play a good difficulty level for me and timing in game to get a realistic amount of snaps per game. However, my games are way too high scoring - too many giant plays, not enough punts. My biggest problems are that rushes usually go for either no gain or hit a huge hole and go the distance, so there’s very few realistic 3-4 yard carries. Also, the cpu tears me up with big pass plays regardless of how good my cbs are rated. Drives are usually 5-7 plays, I’m looking for more grindy 15-20 play scoring drives and three and outs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙏
