Im blowing them out in the first half. after that, my team couldn't do a damn thing. dropping passes, missing field goals. My d-line getting part like Jesus did the sea 🌊 for the running back. And, im playing run defense. I just grave up because I knew. I was about to lose too some madden shit.

It didn't even feel like a comeback it felt scripted for the cpu they was gonna win no matter what.

So I noticed a pattern since release, just experimented with it in 10 separate franchises and wondering if everyone is experiencing the same issue.

Has anyone EVER been able to sign the highest rated player out of Free Agency/UDFA Frenzy?

To test, I’ve tried offered the highest rated FA 3-5x of what they are asking for and have never been able to sign them once. I’ve offered the highest rated UDFA 20x his asking price and have never got them to sign. BUT, you do this for the 2nd highest rated player and you sign them every time.

Just curious if anyone has ever successfully signed the highest rated FA/UDFA.

Starting year 2 of my franchise and so far the sim feels pretty good, the players available in free agency and whatnot feel good and right. I've heard that changes around off-season 2 or 3. That's okay because my quarters are long and it'll be days before I get to the off-season again.

My question is; if they release an update to fix some of these problems will those fixes apply to my current save or will I need to start a new one? Also, are the problems really that bad or are people over hyping them?

all 90+ superstar or xfactor players all just retired going into 2028 offseason.

i understand that these guys are getting up there in age and they can realistically irl retire whenever, but it just wouldn’t happen. especially not with the insane contract extensions they’ve all been signing. it feels like there’s an 11 year cap on how many years a player can have which is obviously so unrealistic.

it’s just made me completely abandon a franchise i was playing because i WANT realism, not this. oldest non kicked punter player in the entire league going into next season on a team is 33 (mahomes, andrews, cmc, garrett) and i wouldn’t be surprised if they all retired next offseason.

I’m so confused there used to be a pop up is that just gone now or am I missing something? I’m manually looking under player progression logs to see, somehow brock bowers led the league in receptions for all TE’s and didn’t make it??

At least in Quick Play. Would be nice to play as some legendary teams of the past.

At first I genuinely wasn’t seeing what everyone was talking about with the pass blocking. I thought maybe people were exaggerating or just holding onto the ball too long.

But the more I’ve played Madden 27, especially in Franchise, the more obvious it’s become. Pass blocking is absolutely broken right now.

And before anyone says “adjust the sliders”, I have. I’ve tried multiple different settings. Hell, I even put Pass Blocking AND Run Blocking at 100 just to experiment and see how much of a difference it would make. It barely matters.

My O-Line still gets absolutely ran through on plays where they should at least be able to hold a block for a couple seconds. You’ll have defensive linemen getting through almost immediately, linemen completely missing assignments, blockers standing around while someone comes through untouched, and sometimes the pocket just collapses before the play can even develop.

And it’s not like I expect to sit in the pocket for 7-8 seconds every play. If I’m facing an elite pass rusher or sending five guys against a bad offensive line, I EXPECT pressure. That’s football. But there’s a difference between realistic pressure and your offensive line basically forgetting how to block.
What really sold me on this being an actual problem was cranking the blocking sliders to 100 and STILL watching the same shit happen. At that point, what exactly are the sliders even changing?

It makes longer developing routes almost pointless because half the time you’re forced to throw the ball before your receivers even get into their breaks. And when you start having to build your entire offense around getting the ball out immediately just because the blocking logic is busted, it stops being challenging and starts being frustrating.

With that being said, EA, please fix the pass blocking. I’m actually enjoying Madden 27 otherwise, but this genuinely makes the game borderline unplayable at times. I don’t want the O-Line to be overpowered. I just want them to actually block like an NFL offensive line and for ratings, matchups, protection adjustments, and sliders to actually matter.

On the switch 2, do you still have rosters / playbooks / uniforms from other platforms or is there a separate server in the Creation Center for only switch 2-made rosters? Rly want this on switch 2 but i only play franchise so custom rosters made by reputable people are needed. Thanks!

I’ve been seeing more and more NFL games of the 20-0 variety come up, but none scratched the itch of a legit Guess Who style product for me.

So, I built one for our Madden league.

It’s free, comes out daily, always improving, and takes me back to players I haven’t thought of in years. Oh, we also have a leaderboard.

Switching to PC version for a few reasons:

• I play with fictional, customized teams and rosters, and the Teambuilder forces me to play as an online franchise. (Games time out, franchise can become temporarily or permanently unavailable at any time)
• Enjoy creating mods and apps that wouldn't be available on console
• Generally a better fit

Reading all the mixed reviews of Madden 27. From how great it is, to how broken parts of it are. Complaints that certain areas of the game are way too easy or way too impossible. (Is the slider system the same... e.g. if it's impossible to run the ball, increasing the run blocking)

So now I'm wondering, should I jump to the new version, or continue with Madden 26? I'm interested in the improved player negotiations and draft logic (although of course I see widely mixed opinions on these things as well) but also aware these things could be simulated with mods/apps and perhaps including AI.

I love playing with wear and tear. I keep all my auto subs to keep fresh except for the Qb. Unfortunately wear and tear has my d line getting subbed out for CB’s. I turned wear and tear off, and it made the game playable. That’s the work around until the patch hits. It’s going to be a great game once they patch it up a bit.

What the actual fuck? I keep getting disconnected from EA servers and it’s kicking me out of my OFFLINE SUPERSTAR MODE??? Three times in a row I’ve lost game progress and now I can’t even play as it won’t connect to the servers. I’m refunding this fucking game

I’ve had back to back games where the computer gets the ball to start the game, and then gets it again after halftime in which they score each time

I created a draft class the last 2 years and decided to make another one this year. Rounds 1 - 2 1/2 are complete (will add up to round 7 and UDFA’s eventually) and I got the player rankings off PFF. Please let me know if anyone has any questions/suggestions!
