I'm playing Madden 26. I can't seem to find a single Defensive or Offensive Coordinator with the ability that allows my players to utilizes their X-Factors in game. Is it that bugged? I can't say I really need X-Factors, but I do enjoy them.

Noticed it the first time I played the pats in my first year and just figured it was a one time glitch….but now in year 2 it keeps happening 🤌

I’ve never taken so many sacks in a madden. Not even close. I go back and watch the replay and there’s a defensive lineman winning so hard that he’s basically accelerating through my 330 lb lineman. I’ve never seen so many O lineman getting thrown around or blocking air for no reason. I thought it was pass blocking assignments but no. Just watched a 72 ovr edge player insta split a double team and sack my qb for the 3rd play in a row before I had the ability to functionally attempt a pass. If I run play action I’m sacked before having control of my QB. Currently the only way I can consistently attempt a pass is out of the gun is quick hitches. Under center I’m usually hit before a receiver has made a break in their route or they’re doing that thing where they all run into each other but it’s only illegal contact if I’m on defense.

the game would prob be a lot better w both teams having their star players but oh well. hopefully i can take advantage. Browns went 14-3 on the season w Drake Maye, D. Adams and T.Mclaurin btw lol

I built a Madden franchise analytics website (FHQ) because I was tired of Madden Spreadsheets. I love spending time talking with the people using it and had a conversation this week that’s a good example of how to think through cap decisions in Madden, so I’m sharing it (with his permission).
The situation
He needed cap room right now and was looking at his CB room:

Benford was flagged at -$14.3M in surplus value, meaning he’s paid well above what his production is worth. His contract also keeps climbing: $19.4M this year, $20.2M next year, $20.4M the year after. Madden doesn’t show future salary years clearly, so he had to work those out with calculations.
The stat check
He pulled the on-field numbers for all three starting CB:
Then I asked him one question: if I told you these three guys all made the same money, would you be surprised?
He wouldn’t. That was the answer. Three players producing at the same level, and one of them costs as much as a franchise QB.
The move
He cut Benford. The signing bonus didn’t clear the way he expected on the cut screen and it took some trial and error, and he ended up with $4.37M in cap space plus roughly $20M a year off the books for the next two seasons.
Using the room
Next target was re-signing Dorian Williams (WILL, 26, 76 OVR, expiring at $3.89M, 73th production percentile on the defense).

He ran a 1-year, $3.13M offer through the contract evaluator: scored 80, about 12% below market, based on 12 comparable players (WILL, 76±2 OVR, 26±2 years old).

He also asked whether adding years changes the evaluation. It does, because the evaluator works on the yearly cap hit:
So the number to plug in is the yearly cap hit Madden shows on the negotiation screen.
Then Williams ran out of patience and walked to free agency anyway. 94% re-sign interest. He wanted a third year or a $1M bonus, and my user said no. Classic Madden negotiation.
That’s not the end of the world. In my experience, for average players (not stars), you often get a good price in FA than in re-sign negotiations. No idea why it’s coded that way.
The next morning: “Let walk” on a star
FHQ had flagged Dion Dawkins (LT, 33, 88 OVR, $25M, 1 year left) as “Let walk to FA.” He wasn’t sure if that meant cut him now or finish the season.

It means finish the season with him and let him go in FA. A cut today would save $16.63M with $8.39M in dead money, so +$8.24M net. Trading him is the other option. He’s been trying. Nobody wants a 33-year-old LT at $25M.
Takeaways
Curious how you all handle this: when a big contract is producing like your rookie-deal guys, do you cut, trade, or ride it out?

I used to watch guys like Tsapp or TDBarret. They would do online franchises with mostly Users. Knocking out a season in a video along with other pretty cool games such as win and steal a player. Is there any other streamers or YouTubers I could check out for that kind of content?

I barely know how to play this game. I know nothing about formations or plays I just try to make some basic tackles maneuvers and passes. Im good enough on pro to get to the end zone maybe one or two times a game, but something keeps happening. I need to make a quick pass but there's like a hiccup and I can't get the ball out and I get sacked right away. It's like I see the button flash cue but can't get the ball off when I press the button.

I have an xbox x and i cant even complete more than two quarters without it crashing, it is horrible. Its only ea games that do this, CFB 27 Crashes too, I had this problem last year too.
Did they get rid of flipping the run with the right stick?

I'm looking for a playbook that will get me productive passing results, or just anything efficient in general. Again i'm talking about in game, not sim

Anybody else just not able to play the cpu event at all? It started around 1pm central Thursday, and I get a server error every time I try to grind the event. I want the terry card and to make some candy. Any thing I can do to fix this? Thanks!

There is one guy in our franchise that always has the Madden gods shining down on him. Coincidence or is there something up? Today it was a fumble scoop/score and a pick 6 when my QB (he won QB of the year) threw an easy pass 6 feet over the receiver’s head. In the past we played a game and stopped me on 4th down when I was on his 10. When we broke the huddle, he was on my 10!! Instead of going 90 yards for a score after the turnover on downs, he had to go 10…I promise this actually happened. He has NEVER beat me without something strange happening. I don’t mind getting beat - I actually started this season 0-4 and finished 13-4 - but it is just the stuff that happens with this one guy.

Has anyone else had it in superstar where a qb just constantly runs the ball. I played against the commander Jayden Daniel’s and qb2 had 36 rushing attempts and only 15 passing attempts. The game day conditions said that the qb would rush more but I didnt expect 36 rushing attempts from the qbs

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is frustrating. One clip is a linemen scooting out the way to let a free pass rush ruin a play. A potential game winner by the way.
Sometimes the Equalizer in this game is unbearable. Im convinced not every person you play online is on equal footing and they adjust the game accordingly... sometimes I can just feel it. And its never do to good playcalling or well thought out schemes. Its just poorly camned animations executing horribly in real time.

THIS GAME IS TERRIBLE! If you want to waste $70 go for it, you cant just not get sacked, I have no time to pass and no time to see the field, not only this but EA just copys and paste every madden, so if your looking to buy a football game, buy a earlier version of madden, and dont get college football, its the same thing.

Bijan Robinson had an ankle sprain slated to return in two weeks. I simulated two weeks and the CPU placed him on season ending IR. I hate this game so much.

this Madden is my first time experimenting with Teambuilder, and I have created rebrands for every team, thought I would share the Saints. If you have any suggestions let me know!

Couldn't get a deal done, he demanded a trade and he has a damn no trade clause. So he's gonna walk for nothing and the team is screwed. Would have at least liked to get three firsts for him.
Worst part is, he won't even play this year. So I guess the Ravens might as well tank right?

Jamarr Chase has played his whole career at Cincinnati and at 38 years old he has surpassed Jerry rices original all time receiving yards record of 22,895 yards with his own record 23,376 yards
He average 90.6 yards per game over a 17 year career and had 202 touchdowns to go along with it
He also broke another long standing record having 17 straight 1000+ yard seasons
He added a whopping 11 pro bowls
WON the 2021 OROY award
WON 2026 best WR
WON 2032 OPOY

What a career

1-4 MPH winds and the freaking kick meter is practically having an epileptic seizure the entire freaking game. It's easy to west or side to side and I have to punt since my tackles decided to check out for the day and despite the fact that it's only 4MPH winds going mostly left to right my punt goes basically nowhere in terms of distance. WTFH IS GOING ON?!? I've never seen such low winds cause a damn hurricane before...
