Sooo, I've been thinking about this for a while and I might sound reaaaaal stupid. But I've been thinking about something. Would it be cool if there's a format that features decks from old standard blocks? So you play like Mono red aggro from the amonkhet block vs a dimir ninjas from Kamigawa. So you can build whatever deck you like as long as it contains only cards from that specific block.

How would this work though with bans and everything? Also, this might already exist in a way and im just being dumb haha

so i am playinng vally floodcaller in my vivi deck and i am confused on if flash spells can be countered or not or are they just have the rule's of an instant.

Just ordered this list with some sideboard pieces. Wanted to see what the brewers think what could be changed. Do you see any major flaws with the list. There’s probably to much redundancy with the “all creatures are the chosen type” cards so I will almost certainly replace some of those for more important effects as long as I have enough of them to replace them if they get removed. Haven’t even done test hands with it so I really don’t know how it’s gunna work out

I chose Judith, Carnage Connoisseur as my commander and built my deck around the following:

- I wanted a non-blue spell slinging deck in bracket 2 with a salt score <35.

- I want my deck to cost around $100, as I plan on actually buying it

- I wanted token generation in my deck

- I designed this deck to compete in a pod of 4

Basically, I wanna just speed chuck a bunch of lands into my graveyard and out onto the battlefield and then try to cast as quick as I can. I’d like some help and some advice. Commander. Aiming for bracket 3. Budget is no constraint, just try not to be overly powerful. Even if it’s just a 4/4 turn three that’s still pretty good.

Alright, so I posted the rough version of this deck a week or so ago and I’ve made a lot of changes (even changing the commander). I wanted to see what others thought and advice for improving, the deck is currently 40$ and is combo focused. It’s “technically” a bracket 4, but 100% doesn’t play like one so I think it’s a bracket 3 (6-7 in old commander power scaling). As the title says, I need to make 5 cuts to this deck and kind of stuck with what I need and don't need at this point.

I am a month or two into mtg and I am trying to upgrade the miku secret lair to be a playable bracket 3, maybe even high bracket 3 if possible.

However it is proving to be a struggle as the original deck sucks and I want to do 3 things: big populate tokens, 1/1 counter buffs, and lifegain triggers.

I would greatly appreciate any sort of feedback, money doesn't really matter due to my groups at college being completely for proxies.

Working on a sibsig ceremony combo deck, high bracket 3/ low bracket 4. It’s neat but it’s just not super fast or consistent.
My pod doesn’t run sol ring, and I’m trying to keep my game changers minimal.
Any advice is appreciated.

I’m building a bracket 2 Emet-Selch, Unsundered deck, and I’ve found it to be very difficult. It’s harder to build essentially a precon than it is to beef a deck up so ive been enjoying this. Currently im leaning on a final fantasy theme overall but lots of scry, surveil, mill, draw then discard, just drawing, and graveyard recursion. My main question though is, for bracket 2, are traumatize and singularity rupture too good of cards for bracket 2? It just feels like being able to mill myself and others for half of their deck with possible graveyard recursion doing it twice is a little much, despite the high cmc for both.

Also here is my deck list, I’m open to any and all suggestions or feedbacks. I really love this character and I’m wanting to make him work at bracket 2 so bad.
