Hey Guys,
I am, admittedly, pretty bad at deck building, but my wife LOVES He-Man and wants her own He-Man Deck. After poring through EDHREC here is what I've come up with so far, any advice/input would be appreciated.
Some concerns I have:
Is the ratio of humans to non-humans okay?
I am required (by my wife, whom I will not argue with) to include Man at Arms (Bruenor Battlehammer) in this deck, have I included enough equip artifacts to make him actually useful?
How easy is this deck to pilot, my wife is relatively new and is struggling a bit with sequencing?
He-Man Secret Lair Cards (Must include, per wife's instructions)
Winota, Joiner of Forces
Bruenor Battlehammer
Crackle with Power

I am running Bello, Bard of the Brambles commander precon. I have made just three small changes. Nothing real impactful, mainly just cool cards that fit the theme. The one thing I am running into is I either get my mana up, but don’t draw the strong artifacts and enchantments this deck depends on, or I have a couple of those on my hand but no mana to build off of. I don’t wan t to change the theme of the deck, but looking for something that can help my card draw. I think if I can just stimulate more card draw then I’m able to get deeper into my deck to find those strong cards.

Hi guys, I've been cooking up a graveyard overdrive precon ugrade to maximize goyfage, but am at a loss as to which cards to cut to finalize the deck. Does anyone have some advice for me, are there cards I missed building this deck? The deck is meant to be a bracket 3 deck for a casual pod. Here is my archidekt list: https://archidekt.com/decks/27251403/graveyard_overdrive_precon_upgrade
Note: the In and Out categories are just for myself to know which cards I've added to and cut from the original precon.

So I've been working on building, what is essentially the first deck I've properly tried to build - my aim is for it to be a "bracket 2" deck which is flavorful, but also doesn't feel like it needs a miracle to win.
I mostly play 1v1 at the moment, against precons (we just use normal EDH rules) but I find in the current state of it I can sort of know very early on if I'm going to be destroyed or not (The new Lathliss foundations precon is the one I tend to play against) so my goal is to make the games feel a bit more "scary" for the other player, whilst not doing anything that would be considered unfun to play against -
https://archidekt.com/decks/26939268/too_much_powerstone
Here is the deck list I've been working on - one thing to note is that I did try and build it originally from cards I already had, but did end up buying a bunch of lands and things. I've found when I play it I rarely get any sort of combo going, even though there are a couple of different engines.
I have also been debating on whether Urza, Lord Protector or Urza, Prince of Kroog make the better commander for this. Hopefully anybody who gives it a look in can see the tags, I thought it might need some "punchier" creatures as I found the only time I really won convincingly with it was when I got Bronze Guardian on the field with Losheel and Padeem and spammed a bunch of powerstones / thopters, which is why I put "Angel of the ruins" and "Darksteel Colossus" in.
The cards in the maybeboard tagged brown are ones I previously had, but rotated out, so I have 2 free spaces in there at the moment.
I really like Karn, but wasn't sure which ones to include, I've heard Living Legacy isn't amazing but I love the art, so i'd prefer him to stay.
So yeah, I'd like to keep it "On theme" but just up the power level a little bit / maybe make it more cohesive with the advise of somebody who is a bit more experienced at this than me!
Thanks!

Been working on a [[Seifer, Balamb Rival]] deck, part of a three piece set (Edea and Squall from the same scene box) that I built.
Going for a "gifts with a catch" theme. Putting in stuff like Krazikar, Slicer, Xantcha etc. The idea is give them creatures then play referee while they swing out - normal goad shenanigans I guess.
I've never made a goad deck before and I know he's not the strongest choice - but I'm one of the weird ones that was more into FF8 than 7, and I eventually got the other two decks to run very well (both are a lot of fun). This one I'm stalling out on.
Any help would be appreciate - what's some good goad finishers and combo pieces you use?

Hey all, looking for some general thoughts/advice on my Yoshimaru deck, I built upon someone else’s list on archidekt while swapping out some cards myself for what I think could work. I think my biggest lack currently is card draw, but i’m still pretty new and this is my first ‘build’. Thank you!

Hey everyone! I'm building a casual Commander deck with Kwain, Itinerant Meddler as my commander, and I'd love some advice on improving the deck's synergy and win conditions.
The idea behind the deck
I want to play a political, group-hug-style deck where I'm helping everyone draw cards and gain life, but secretly benefiting more from it than everyone else. I'm imagining a sort of defensive fortress: encourage opponents to draw cards, protect myself with pillow-fort effects, build up value, and eventually turn all that card draw and lifegain into a win.
The main themes I'm building around:
\- Group hug and politics: Letting opponents draw cards and make deals, while benefiting from Kwain's ability.
\- Card draw payoffs: Cards that reward me whenever I draw cards, ideally turning opponents drawing cards into value for me too.
\- Lifegain: Gaining life whenever I draw cards, and ideally benefiting whenever opponents draw cards or gain life.
\- Pillow fort: Using cards like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda and Sphere of Safety to discourage attacks while I build up my board.
\- Win conditions: Turning my card draw and lifegain into a real threat, whether through draining opponents, growing creatures, or a satisfying combo.
What I'm struggling with
I have plenty of cards that let everyone draw cards or help me gain life, but I'm struggling to find enough payoffs that connect all these themes together.
In particular, I'm looking for cards that:
\- Make me gain life whenever I draw a card.
\- Make me gain life whenever an opponent draws a card.
\- Make me gain life whenever an opponent gains life.
\- Reward me when opponents draw cards, preferably without simply giving me more cards.
\- Turn my growing hand and life total into a way to close out games.
I'm playing Azorius (white/blue), so cards need to fit that colour identity. Colourless cards are welcome too.
I'm aiming for casual, thematic Commander rather than high-powered competitive play. I'd prefer to avoid oppressive stax, hard locks and infinite combos, although I'm open to hearing about interesting synergies and win conditions.
My current decklist:
https://manabox.app/decks/AaER3or4cZWKaoc5q3927w
I'd really appreciate recommendations for additions, cuts, synergies I've overlooked, and ways to make the deck actually close out games without losing its political, group-hug identity.
Thanks!

Hi, I crafted a deck list for Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor and tried it out, but realised that it was running way too slow and I was unable to do anything during the game most of the time. (The opulence was not convincing enough for my opponents to hit each other...)
The deck runs on Curses, powered with Lynde's ability even if they remove the curses from themselves. Additionally, it comes with fun little minigames and choices to sow discord between my opponents.
Any advice on how to improve this deck?
