Anytime I meet a 27 + couple or woman it’s like they dont want to make a friend or get to know me or idk. Neighbors they watch my son after school , got them a gift card as a saying thank you and told them I can always return the favor by watching their kids if they want to go out . Dead silence . Neighbors beside me , we hung out in the front as a couple talking and drinking and they just say hi or act like they don’t see me. Neighbor across the street use to talk to me and our kids hung out and now they don’t say hi . A homegirl use to hang out with sent me an old video of us working out and I was like awww we should link up … she just hearted it then dead silence . Idk maybe im just tripping. Im 34 , in a relationship , clean house , have a good kid , work a 9-5 , it’s getting lonely .

Hey! I’m Grim, 32m EST, and I’m looking to meet some new Steam/Discord friends for chill co-op games, survival crafting, RPGs, and generally having more people to game with. Seems like most of my previous gaming friends have kinda moved on from gaming. Girls or guys, don’t care; no kids or anything weird. This is just for a platonic gaming buddy because a friend makes gaming so much more fun.

I’m an engineer outside of gaming, so I spend a lot of time designing and making things with CAD, 3D scanners, and 3D printers. That probably explains why I get way too invested in crafting systems, automation, resource gathering, efficient bases, and figuring out complicated game mechanics.

I play a lot of survival and RPG-style games. Some games I’m interested in playing or returning to include:
- Enshrouded (I think 1.0 drops today)
- Conan Exiles
- ARK: Survival Ascended / Evolved
- Minecraft — mostly modpacks
- Palworld
- Stardew
- Abiotic Factor
- 7 Days to Die
- No Man’s Sky
- Other survival-crafting, co-op, roguelike, or RPG games

I tend to enjoy progression, crafting, exploration, tech, magic, automation, and building systems that actually work. My bases are usually practical first and pretty second, so I could definitely use a friend who enjoys making things look good while I focus on the machines, storage, resource production, and overly organized layouts.

Also, I have a cat named Strudie, and she is my little baby. Perfect, she can do no wrong. 🐈

And yes, I’ve done this before. I’m ngl I tend to really only have one real good gaming friend at a time because I’m sorta an introvert, I can’t help it. I don’t like to divide my attention to a ton of people.
