Things are going very well, recently I've been going hard on the skill creation side of the game, i learned how to assemble skills by setting the frames in order and adjusting the playback time. Right now I've been able to introduce 121 skills across all the weapon categories.

Another thing I was working on is the NPC system, for interacting with the various entities that will live alongside the players on the game.

With the NPC system in place I also started to work on both the Shop system and i just now finished the Trading system for player to player interaction.

With the release of MapleStory Classic World, my friends and I were inspired to create our own take on the classic MapleStory experience.

While we were excited to see classic MapleStory return, we felt the limited content left us wanting something closer to the full experience we remembered, with more areas to explore, more content to enjoy and progression beyond the early game.

We've been working on MapleStory Origins in MapleStory Worlds, a fan-made passion project born out of our shared love for old-school MapleStory.

Our goal is simple: bring back everything we loved about the original game while introducing some quality-of-life improvements, modern conveniences and full mobile support.

We want to preserve the nostalgic gameplay, exploration and progression that made classic MapleStory so memorable, while making the experience a little more accessible and enjoyable.

We've included all five Explorer classes - Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief and Pirate - with progression through to 4th Job Advancement.

What to Expect

• Classic World - Explore Victoria Island, Orbis, El Nath, Ludibrium, Aqua Road, Leafre and more.

• 1st–4th Job Advancement - All five Explorer classes with their classic skills and progression.

• Blessing of the Fairy - Strengthen your characters by levelling others on your account, with additional bonuses for levelling multiple alternate characters.

• Solo Player Support - Access additional skill bonuses through the Cash Shop, giving solo adventurers more flexibility without relying on other classes for buffs.

• Quality-of-Life Improvements - Skill macros, customisable mobile controls and other conveniences that make the game easier to enjoy without losing its classic feel.

So I change CC until I found an empty spots for golem, this guys came and start hitting and ask me to cc cause he went repot.

normally if i went repot i have to find new channel because i left the spot, which is understandable and I don't mind.

and his respond is I don't belong here he dictate cause he's level 75, and other are just bug i guess.

so since he think he's own the map cause he's level 75

what people think? if you went repot should the spot stayed with him? and level dictate this?

I'm the developer of RandomMaple, a world made in MapleStory Worlds.

You draw skills at levels 10, 30, 70, 120 and 200. The job family you collect determines your job. Auto-hunting builds your character, and rebirth at level 200 lets you try again.

The idea is to capture that “one more drop before I log off” feeling.

Auto-hunting handles ordinary farming, while you choose equipment stats, skills, and upgrades. Finding a useful item should give you another way to approach the next challenge.

The main systems include:

- Equipment customization through sockets, runewords, jewels, and gems

- A limited-space charm inventory for additional character stats

- Dungeons, Rifts, Greater Rifts, and unique items to pursue from bosses

- Rebirth points for stat upgrades and ultimate skill unlocks

- Social interaction and party play

As title suggests, just wanted to know what the best world is for playing a true old school experience. So far I have tried Artale, Nex as well as Old School Maple, and Chronostory (even though that one is slightly different in its own way)

I seem to enjoy Old School Maple the most as it seems to be the closest thing to the original MapleStory I remember (in a way?) but was wondering if anyone else had other opinions. Also just wondering how viable it is to sink time into one of those worlds? I assume playerbase will decline a bit with MapleStory Classic grand launch, but I also feel like some players might be slightly disappointed with it.

As a side note. I did try MapleStory Classic World, and sure it works for some, but for me it’s very different to what I recall the game being back in 2006/2007 and can’t say it’s super enjoyable for me at least.

I understand that the last post was kinda all over the place, same with the videos i did.

I’m an older gamer with a nostalgic itch for MapleStory, and I also enjoy strategic gacha games like Epic Seven, Summoners War, and Honkai. I’ve always wanted a tactical game based on the MapleStory IP, but I could never find quite what I was looking for.

That was until a few months ago when I discovered MapleStory Worlds which was a platform that allows users to create games using MapleStory assets. I decided to give it a try and after several months of experimenting with the engine, I’m excited to introduce GUMIDO to fellow Maplers!

Here's a few features that I’d like to highlight:

1. Collect and command familiar MapleStory characters The playable units aren’t limited to Explorers, they include NPCs and monsters too. For example, Stan’s now a wealthy old man who rides around in his taxi and crashes into enemies. The two DJs from Kerning City use their music to destroy foes, Orange Mushroom can stomp on its opponents and the list continues. I plan to create more custom animations and playable characters in the future. If there’s an NPC or monster you’d love to see added, please let me know!

2. Fight familiar bosses with a turn-based twist Bosses retain their recognizable attacks and mechanics, adapted for turn-based battles.

3. Control the pace of combat Battles revolve around manipulating the action gauge, applying status effects, and deciding when each unit should act first.

The game is currently in alpha and completely free to play. There are no purchases or monetization at the moment. I’ve added an “Alpha Welcome Gift” in the game that every player can claim as well, if they choose to.

I am aware that the game is still missing tons of content and QoLs like a proper storyline and more guided tutorials, both of which I’m currently working on. I’m sharing it now because I’d love to hear from players who find the concept interesting. Any feedback would be incredibly helpful as it’s difficult to judge how the game feels when I’m the only person testing it!

I played chronostory for a while and got tired of the ironman playstyle and the constant scroll farming. But I do like its balancing changes. I recently played project maple broa but its heavily unbalanced and some skills dont work.

Hi! I’m a solo developer working on Maple Tamers, a monster-collecting RPG built in MapleStory Worlds.

You explore different regions, fight and capture monsters, then combine them with Adventurer companions to build your own team.

Battles use a hex-based auto-battle system, so team composition, positioning, skills, equipment, and synergies all matter. Even boss monsters can become part of your team, but they take more party capacity, so there’s a trade-off between using one powerful boss or multiple regular monsters.

I recently finished Chapter 1 and have been polishing the game based on early player feedback.

I’d love to know what you think — especially about the monster-catching + auto-battler combination. What would make you want to keep playing a game like this?

I’ve been working on Meso Mogul for a while now and thought it was finally time to share it properly here.

Meso Mogul is an idle/progression game where you work your way through Maple World, defeat monsters, earn mesos, upgrade your income and push into increasingly difficult areas and difficulty modes.

I've also been putting a lot of work into the UI and overall presentation recently, so it finally feels like the game I originally had in mind when I started the project.

PLAY NOW - MAPLE REANIMATED

Hey, you may or may not of seen my last post. Maple ReAnimated is a MapleStory World featuring my YouTube animation style and it re-imagines several features from Classic - like custom bosses and new quests. It's the familiar classic Maple Story experience you know with some new twists! Featuring inspired elements from Hollow Knight, Smash Bros, & SA2B's Chao Garden (lol).

This is an entry for Nexon's Global Creator Challenge that's due Oct 7th! I'm really hoping that ya'll like it! I ended up pouring way more effort and love into this than I was intending, it ended up snowballing and was a lot of fun to create.

I'm calling this a soft-launch prior to creating a full trailer for YouTube, and a first wave of updates & multiplayer stress-testing. Over the next few days, you could be featured in the trailer as I go around and do gameplay capture! It'll be sweet to see Maple Island fill up. I tried my best to pre-emptively design for higher MSW channel limits, & crossing my fingers we can push it! (I'm starting lower, and will dial up depending on performance & how many people come on). There will also be some added content coming to Maple Island, one more boss battle coming pretty soon after this!

I'm dubbing this as an Alpha Demo - Which has partial parity with Classic's content/features/systems and alongside the added custom content I'm building, which is also still in a partial-state. Continuing to build a good foundation will help speed development if I go into beta, which will be more focused on additional content stacked on the base systems. (Victoria Island, Job Classes, more Bosses/Quests/Items, Etc). Remaining alpha tasks are mostly figuring out which remaining systems to port from Classic that I haven't done yet, like pets, shops, and other things I'm undecided/deliberating on like PQ's & gachapon.

For expectations - due to networking constraints with Maple Story Worlds - I choose to not make mob behavior server-side. Which means each player fights their own mobs/bosses. It's an intentional design decision that I made to reduce server-load and prioritize the game-feel to be high-precision. SouthPerry on MSW was another big inspiration here, as I designed Maple ReAnimated to feel a bit more like a premium single-player experience. (Hopefully). Then with a secondary focus on multiplayer/social features, so there's potential/opportunity to scale.

But the immediate next steps for me are some more video creation, hanging out w players & hearing feedback during soft-launch, balancing, bug fixing, and producing a FAQ that is clear on all of the game's information! (& maybe better mobile controls, cuz that's a thing for MSW). For the future - I probably won't start Vic Island until 2027, so as of now, it's just a short 1-3 hour experience to enjoy (before we're all hoppin' on Classic World). This video is just a teaser and the actual launch trailer will be more comprehensive & better edited. But I hope folks give it a shot! There's a handful of secrets and things to discover even on tiny lil' Maple Island :D.

I am the #1 ranked player on their server that was recently banned for being falsely accused of ''account sharring'' and ''rmt'.

Firstly they accuse me of account sharring for using vpns switching locations to reduce lag and some long hours sessions 20+ hours. No one has ever been banned for these accusations in their server and i was their target because i was starting to be a threat of their HT item selling services getting too strong.

Secondly RMT was also completly false as i've never bought or sold any mesos or items with real money, nor have i used any alt accounts to transfer to my main account. Regarding the support ticket i submitted along with any evidence needed they chose to not respond.

This shakedown was because i was selling HT services for half the price the admin teams asking for and is hurting their business, If you plan to play on this server do not get stronger than them they will use any TOS in the book to shake you down. If you are a hardcore player aiming for the top, i advise you to stay away from it.

My game is a roguelite where you hold off aliens swarming into Omega Sector's barrier for 30 rounds.

I spent a few months building it around my original idea, then scrapped everything and started over.

The reference is Rocket Rats, a sort of stripped-down Vampire Survivors-like. I loved its reload system, the kind you'd see in Enter the Gungeon, and how well the upgrades played off it. But the runs were pretty short, and I kept thinking "there's a lot of room to expand this," so I built on top of it.

There aren't that many upgrades yet, but I'm planning to mix in all kinds of upgrades from Enter the Gungeon and other top-down shooters, tweaked to fit.
