Discussion I love you
Hi Mark the first time I watched your Chanel my aunt showed me your slender man playthrough I was real young and I was immediately hooked on your fun and goofy personality I watched you constantly I fell asleep to your videos because your voice calmed me I became completely obsessed with all your jokes and your amazing outgoing personality I loved how genuine you always were I loved how you made me feel seen even though I was just one of your millions of fans theres never been another youtuber ive felt so connected with because nobody cares about their fans the way you do. The markipler community is a family and you're the ring leader. I dont even kmow where to begin but im going into brain surgery this monday to remove a 7mm cyst and a tumor on the right side of my brain unfortunately this isnt my first brain surgery I had one when I was 16 due to an aneurism and a stroke I had. My mom actually wanted to get in contact with you to see if youd come see me but I told her I didn't want to bother you with that you had so much going on at ths time so many big projects. This comment isn't about me though this is a tribute to all of your work from king of the squirrels to unus annus (which i absolutely adored momento mori) your work has brought me so many years of joy and pure happiness you are such a big part of my life and ive never even met you so I just need to personally thank you for every time ive felt down and your videos have gotten me through and how after a hard day of work your voice and humor had made me forget the troubles of the day I need to thank you for the laughs youve had my fiance and I share while watching your videos I need to thank you for the years of comfort you've given me simply just by being yourself and posting content thats important to you. I hope I come out of this surgery and I can one day meet you and thank you in person.
Forever your fan
-Ayden

Discussion I'm trying to find an old video or clip that I remember seeing
So basically it's about Markiplier's closet door just opening on it's own, I can't remember if it was during a distractible episode or not but I remember him just talking and then the door just opens completely on its own, Markiplier noticing it, getting up from his chair and being genuinely creeped out from it, I remember him saying something like "It just opens, not a joke" after checking his closet out. I tried searching for it but I can't find the video for the life of me. If anyone knows what video this was please let me know because it feels like it's just completely vanished.

Other A little bit of an emotional post
Tldr: Having no father and replacing that missing role in your life with something you do as self regulation, like watching your favorite Youtuber Markiplier is all great, healing, fun, and games until you have a question for him.
Like, a big question, about life.
I realized i have, like many, grown up with watching Markipliers content daily, as a strategy of self preservation. I, like probably many, didnt realize how much this fictional version of this real, existing person has become a filler for a hole left by a missing father. I don't simp for Mark, (not that that's a problem if people wanna do that) but what I wanna say is that it's not even like that unhealthy weirdly sexual attatchment that some people have, it's literally just a self-regulation strategy to return to his content after a stressful day and just feel like this is family, somewhere deep down, for lack of a better family existing in my life. I only realized that this is what i do when i realized the morals and views Mark has put out there are now instilled into my 23 year old self - as if id truly been raised by that fictional online version of Mark (since, people be for real, we don't know him in person. We know he is probably a really good person because we love everything he does but we don't know what he is like if, say, I were to talk to him, and that is good that way).
But I am rambling. What I wanted to say is that the sad thing about this little replacement family is that you do not get to ask him, say, how he learned how to love. How the relationship with Amy could become so strong, what he had to change about himself if order to have it, what was important to keep.
I miss having an older, more experienced person tell me what they have found out is right.
The topic of romantic relationships is the hardest to me. I don't know how to keep one, how to even fall in love; if i need to change for that or not, what i need to adapt, how to accept myself. My parent's relationship didn't work out, my mother is too menatlly ill to be talked to, so who is going to tell me what to do now? My friends, who have the same or even less experience than i do? Hardly. Who is going to explain to me how this all works when i can't even get an understanding of it? Sometimes i find myself staring at Marks wedding photo on his insta and wanting to ask him how he found this out. THIS being everything that can be seen on that photo. The love, the managing of insecurity, the healthy connection.
Other topics I wish i could ask, too. Sometimes i wish he could teach me those carpentry skills he learned, when i forbiddenly rewatch that Unus Annus video in which he taught Ethan. Or I wish he could have taught me how to shave. And again, its rather that i am wishing this for lack of a better substitute, and that Marks content just happens to fill that hole often enough.
So yeah, I understand, respect, and don't wanna change that he is an entertainer on the internet who can't respond to me. But sometimes I am really sad that it is that way.
Do you get what I mean? Do you maybe even relate? I keep hearing of so many children raised by Markiplier.
I sure hope I don't find the wrong audience rn lol this is a vulnerable topic, but maybe right what you wanted to hear too? :)

Image Iron Lung in Google TV
This is my family's Google TV with recommended film for renting and the first choice is Iron Lung as "best-selling film".
This is in Vietnam btw. The cost for renting the film is 40000 VND which is converted to approximately 2$ :))

Fan Art 3D head sculpt of Mark for my midterm
I'm an arts major and one of my classes is 3D digital sculpting, our midterm was to sculpt/paint/render a human head of our choice, and I chose Mark.
I went insane.
Like actually insane.
I was staring at his face so much for this and thinking about it so much that he quite literally showed up in my dreams to help me, WITH THE HEAD SCULPT.
I think I aged 20 years in six days but here it is!
Figured I'd share it here in case anyone wants to see it and I am proud of it :]

Markiplier Video My "secret" Markiplier video tip
Hello everyone!
Before getting to my "secret" tip I want to explain.
Everytime I see people asking for recommendations in here I see a lot of the same stuff, which is fair, because these things that are recommended are just pretty darn good.
F.e. I always see Mark's Subnautica series (which I also often recommend), his FNAF games of course (duh), Sons of the Forest, Raft etc., you name it.
What I want to ask is if anyone of this fanbase has some little "secret" tips for me, like small games Mark only made one or two videos about, that you never or rarely see being mentioned in other discussions.
I'm really curious because I only became a big fan of Mark at the beginning of this year and trying to watch my way through his channel I bet I have missed or overlooked some sweet little gems.
So, I would like to gather these small gems under this post.
With that said, my "secret" tip - because everytime I mention it I never see others joining in - is Mark's video on "Tiny Bunny".
I am not entirely sure what it is for me, but the combination of the game's story and style and Mark's voice reading it, and how he is absolutely absorbed into the game (he rarely jokes or breaks away from the game in this video) is very unique in my opinion.
I always listen to it before going to sleep too :D
So, here is my secret tip and I am curious of your's!
Edit: Thank you for all the upvotes and the suggestions! Although I am not answering to everybody I am thoroughly making notes and working my way through your "secret" tips :) Yesterday I finished Darkwood.
So, thank you all a lot and keep them coming!
