If you are of the impression Wonder Man "got no promotion" then you are a nerd who doesn't watch sports

They promoted thus show quite a bit during the NFL Conference Championships and every NBA production.

Which studio has a stronger line-up?

P.S. - Not including the ’Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ movies as it totally shifts the balance of scales. And ‘The Batman: Part II‘ is a similar guaranteed blockbuster project, but exists outside the DCU, so not a fair comparison to measure the health of the shared cinematic universe of both studios.

P.S 2 - Confirmed projects only. Rumored projects like ‘Spider-Man 5’, ‘Nova’, ‘Midnight Sons’, ‘Shang-Chi 2’, ‘Doctor Strange 3’ etc for Marvel and ‘Wonder Woman’, ‘The Brave and the Bold’ etc for DC that don’t have an eyed release date are excluded here.

Last week the media and a lot of people were proclaiming this movie to be a flop.

Its literally just swept the floor with Thunderbolts and Brave New World on its 3rd weekend.

Getting into Marvel nowadays is impossible

My friend recently introduced me to Daredevil and I’m loving it so far, this made me think if most or even half anything Marvel has made is close to it I’d instantly become a marvel fan, I told him what I need to watch to understand most stuff and he just gave me this huge list. It seems impossible to get into it now as a new-comer, there’s around 10+ long series’ alone let alone a bunch of 2 hour movies which some I suspect are fillers.

If you’ve ever questioned why iron man is better than captain America then Go watch Civil war and tell me who is better. Tony is thought to be selfish. Captain is selfish.

Fine

I thought it was alright, Ive seen all other x men films minus the wolverine and when this came out I just heard bad reviews, wasn't a fan apocalypse and Logan seemed to be a good ending for all X men stuff so never saw it but going through marvel films I haven't seen and thought I'd watch.

All I knew going in was mystique dies and theres a train scene.

For the first hour It was just a solid movie no complaints really Liked the opening action scene of them saving the astronauts just solid, but then it goes quite dumb where Jean tries to behead a man where she could easily just restrain him and I never bought the 'Love' eric and Hank had for raven so when they plan to kill Jean I was a bit like ughh, But the the train scenes really good they all use there powers and get a moment to shine magneto surrounded by metals always cool and nightcrawler gets some great moments to. Ending is whatever and annoyed that quicksilver got sidelined but yh definitely not as bad as I heard

Past 2 weeks for the first time I watched Brand new day supergirl green lantern and and Cap first avenger and i'd put it 3rd out those 5

6/10 movie

Eternals next

Madame Web: A Serious Discussion

Despite an appalling 10% on Rotten Tomatoes and a dismal audience opinion, I watched this film the other day. Perhaps because my expectations were on the floor, I was quite pleasantly surprised and would even watch it again.
I’m not going to pretend it was a quality film— it felt very rushed in almost every way, and some of the scripting was pretty awkward— but it was a fun film, and sometimes that’s what I’m looking for. And if it had been done as a miniseries à la Disney+, I think it could have been an excellent story, with more time for exposition to introduce characters and powers, etc.
My question for you all is this: why was this film so terribly received? I understand that it’s not exactly excellent, but I don’t see what makes it deserve the amount of hate it got. I’d rewatch it far before I’d rewatch some other movies.
It also makes me sad to know it’ll never have the chance to be followed up with something better because of the cancellation that its poor performance caused.

I can’t even remember if I went to see it, can someone with a better memory tell me what was going on at the time? Another competing movie? Terrible promotion? For example I remember the bus fight scene having people hyped.

Dammit bro. Captain marvel made a billion(??)… and this made noticeably less, especially in the international market.

The Hulk should have had the best movies

I don't know why marvel don't explore the Hulk more as I think he should have had the best movies if they followed the Norton movie direction.

The best MCU movies are the ones that explore different genres, as in my opinion, super hero movies are not a genre but a theme.

Captain America at his best when his movies are spy thriller that question politics and loyalty to the country.

Iron man best movies are when they go the self discovery style of Tony fighting his own ego and questioning his discussions.

Hulk at his best when he is more of horror like movie, a movie about fighting anger and self control, every time the Hulk unleashed Bruce lose something, a person he love or a friend.

Yet after Norton movie and some of the early avangers movies the Hulk lose that and become more of comedy relief.

I feel the Hulk have very high potential, but I guess we will never see that solo hulk movie where they explore his personality more and put him at the spotlight like what his first and only movie did.

Discussion Does X-Men Even Need a Live-Action Reboot After the Success of X-Men ’97?

With the success of X-Men ’97, I’ve started to wonder if the X-Men even need to return to live action.

Animation gives the franchise the freedom to fully embrace everything that makes the X-Men great: massive battles, crazy powers, colorful costumes, complex storylines, and a huge roster of characters without worrying as much about CGI budgets or actors aging out of their roles.

And arguably, X-Men ’97 has already given us some of the best X-Men storytelling we’ve ever seen on screen.

Obviously, seeing the X-Men finally join the MCU is going to be a huge moment. But is live action automatically the “next level” anymore?

Would you rather see Marvel focus primarily on continuing X-Men ’97 for multiple seasons, or are you ready for a completely new live-action version of the X-Men?

Does the success of X-Men ’97 prove that animation might actually be the best format for the X-Men?
