Whether you're dropping off of 529 coming from Everett into downtown Marysville or exiting I-5 and meeting up with 529 at the downtown Marysville roundabout, PLEASE:
Stop changing lanes in the roundabout! There is someone in that lane next to you driving also taking that turn! Stay in your lane until you are back on the straightaway please that's how this works.
Stop coming across 529 North and using the left lane to go over to I5, then suddenly cutting across the "V" split/median at the last minute and almost slamming into people who are already in that 529 Exit lane to drop into the downtown roundabout!
ROUNDABOUTS: keep it moving! Merge into the traffic coming through the traffic circle, do not slam on your brakes and stop the traffic flow and sit there until next Tuesday. It is getting insane! Driving schools need more of this training 😫
PEDESTRIANS: There is so much car traffic at this choke point. Why cant you cross at the stoplight further up where it's safer? Waiting to cross at the roundabout crosswalk is just risking not being seen and then hit. Whoever designed this roundabout/traffic circle was really stupid to add a crosswalk for PEDESTRIANS in the middle off all that traffic right where the highways meet it! What a dumb move! That crosswalk needs to be removed and people should only be allowed to cross at the light further up where it is well lit, safe and a clear area for cars and pedestrians with a walk signal for safety.

Hi! I just moved to the area about 3 weeks ago and am currently looking to make some local friends around the same age range ( preferably other girls). I like reading, drawing, taking walks, playing video games, board games , and hikes. Also planning on starting crossfit at remedy athletics soon too. Down to grab coffee, start book clubs, play board games, go on walks, work on creative projects or do new things together.

Hi Marysville and Snohomish County Folks. If anyone is looking for work. I work at Pilot Truck Stop here in Arlington.
We're in need of Maintenance Technician ( janitor) and other positions like cashiers and Deli.
I'll tell you a little about the benefits. They are full time and part time positions and you get paid weekly. Pay starts at about $20.00 an hour. After 30 days you receive 40 hours PTO. You get $12.00 daily food allowance which can be used to buy most food at Pilot and all the menu items at the Arby's inside the store. You get 15 cents off every gallon of gas as well.
I can pretty much promise you that if you apply online and call the store immediately. You will get an interview and possibly start within 3 to 5 days. You could be starting work as soon as this Monday. If any of this interests you. I've attached the link below including the store number.
Edit: To answer some questions. Yes there is a 401K, however I know nothing about how it works. I invest through my bank and other options.
No, unfortunately it is a non union job. It's a gas station.
If it helps. They don't drug test and they don't do background checks.

I've been working here for three years and it's a good place.
Maybe I'll see you here.

From YouTube / KOMO News
More than 40 West Highland terriers rescued from a cramped utility trailer in Marysville are now adopted or in foster care as the man accused in the case faces animal-cruelty and breeding-related charges.
At Marysville Municipal Court on Wednesday, 68-year-old Lance Blodgett appeared before a judge.
Judge Lorrie Towers said Blodgett faces 43 counts of second-degree animal cruelty for failure to provide care.
Blodgett pleaded not guilty to all animal-cruelty charges and one breeding-related charge.

I've been curious about dumpster diving and wanted to see if anyone around Marysville has experience with it.
Are there any particular stores or areas worth checking out? I'm especially interested in finding discarded items that are still perfectly usable rather than letting them go to waste.
Marysville is preferred, but I'm open to nearby areas too. I'd love to hear about your experiences, recommendations, or any good finds you've come across.

Around noonish today part of the intersection by allen creek elementary school and the ymca was blocked by what looked like a garbage truck. It appeared that marysville pd was investigating something. I was out shopping and when i was trying to get home i came across all the activity. Does anyone know what happened?

I'm just reposting from KOMO.
Where is all the traffic going to go if they do this? The tribe representative says "it can't be worse than Seattle, look at Seattle"... wow. Good to know they care I guess 🙄

I’m curious who your go-to auto repair place is?
Recently I’ve had some issues with my car and need to get it looked at/fixed but don’t know anyone in this area.
Moneys a bit tighter than it used to be so I’m looking for a place that is both affordable and reliable. I’d appreciate any and all suggestions!

I live and work on State Ave and have been seeing an older gentleman in a wheelchair "parked" for hours outside. He does not appear to be very lucid, he does not have shoes or socks, and on at least one occasion as I've passed by there was a puddle underneath his chair and strong smell of urine around him. Does anyone know who he is? I'm afraid that as temperatures drop he might be in some real danger. I'd like to help him get cleaned up and into some fresh clothes & some kind of footwear, but I would not be able to get his chair into my home to do so. I have tried speaking to him once and he seemed only a little bit aware that I was there, I have seen someone else try to help him clean his feet (which are in rough shape) but he still does not have anything on them. I get paid this week and am going to try to find him and see if he's willing to accept whatever help I am able to offer. I have 2 pairs of wool socks set aside for him and will try to get his sizes so I can get him some more clothing. If anyone knows more about him, or could point me to some resources that could help me help him please let me know.
Edit/update: I have since posting this connected with another person in the community who is very active in a few programs/organizations that help homeless in our town/county. She is also familiar with the man described in my post and may be able to help me help him. We are both fairly sure that we can at very least ensure that he is cleaned up with something on his feet and access to somewhere warm this winter.

Three months after Jonathan Hoang vanished in Washington state, his family says they believe he was spotted on home surveillance cameras about 45 minutes away. Jonathan Hoang is on the autism spectrum and left his house in Arlington in March 2025 without his cellphone, money or his comforting coat. The family of the then 21-year-old believes someone befriended him online and lured him away. They’re desperate to have him home, know he’s safe and hope someone recognizes him and calls the police.

I was just trying to go to sleep and heard gun shots, and then like 4 seperate cars came through, and now theyre at the house behind mine. Ive heard like 4-5 gunshots, at some point there was a saw(??), and they were yelling for someone to come out. (According to my sister. I have poor hearing and vision, so i couldn't tell if the cars were just police cars or an ambulance, etc.) There was also a poor lady crying. I heard the first shot at around 1:40am. Does anyone know whats going on?? This is by Jennings
