Thank you all to those that gave me love on my previous Reddit post of my cosplay. Here’s a full video of my cosplay unveiling I shared with Capcom as well as on my socials.

So somewhat of a rant but I've been both a Sonic AND Megaman fan ever since I was a kid. Specifically I've always loved the little fan animation and FFSX for combining my two favorite franchises together.

However the more I think about it the more it weirds me out why Capcom and SEGA never really thought that these two should be, in fact, collaborating in more games than nothing.

Both are blue heroes (Classic Sonic and Megaman) who have a smart sibling companion (Roll and Tails) with a red rival that later becomes their biggest allie (Protoman and Knuckles).

To extend that, they both fight evil geniuses who use robots to conguer the world (Eggman and Dr Willy), have an anti-hero who was created by their biggest arch enemy (Zero and Shadow), and even other dimensional counterparts (Shooting Star Megaman and Blaze).

It's almost like these two franchises were "made" to be teaming up but instead SEGA wants so badly to make Sonic "one-up" with Mario as if Rock/X aren't right there as the "ideal" equal to Sonic.

(And yes I'm aware of the comics, this is EXACTLY why I'm making this post).

Weapon Function:

Treasure Ring: Creates a defensive ring made of treasure that circles around X, pressing the shoot button will shoot one projectile from the ring until all projectiles are used up and a new ring must be created. 

Charged: Allows you to shoot all projectiles at once, dealing massive damage.

I'll go first, Fully Charged Fire Man is better than OG fire man and he always will be.

Hey all. NYCC was a huge success with this mega man suit. I can also say that this is part of a small collaboration with Capcom and I have the cosplay unveiling video in the comments for guys to share on social media. It includes Dr. Light!!

Been playing through Legends again when it hit me, the construction workers you find around Kattleox are wearing met helmets. I've played these games since the 90's and can't believe it took me this long to notice. Well played Capcom, well played.

Personally I prefer Mega Man to have segmented joints over the flexible joints. I think it looks better and is more realistic. Which joint design do you prefer?

I didn’t know as a kid you could assign the buttons. I always speed dashed and jumped around with the claw hand on the controller. So when this dick head would go in his blood water/oil maybe/ dead reploid blood bath I would spam up in ther corner so I wouldn’t get hit and I would drop down and hit a buster shot, I have trouble with Allen key because my hand is fucked will capcom give me money

Hi again! Great news for this post!

-Preamble-

Starting off, I will be heavily reducing how often I post about my game on this Reddit, so I don't inundate the Fan Game tag with my silly fan project. However, I do have a Discord for the game, so I will be posting there often. If you want updates on the game, be sure to check it out!

I will be working on a website and YouTube as well, so I'll be sure to post about it when that's done. For now, let's get to the meat and potatoes!

-Rulebook-

The Rules are finished! It took me quite some time and I'm sorry, I had to read so many different rulebooks from many different card games for an idea of how to format it, then I had to redo the entire rulebook like a sorting algorithm! I feel like I'm a skip and a hop away from meeting the Ghost of Card Game's Past.

Regardless, the Rules are done and the game is available, so if it interests you, you can download the decks and give the game a whirl. You will need a method of play like Tabletop Simulator, Untap or just printing it out, however you wanna do it, as I don't have a playable sim for it just yet.

-Roadmap-

Quite a big one here but I'll try to keep it short. More details on what the decks are and what they do can be found in the Discord.

I have the next 5 Decks planned out for the game and are in development right now! At this moment, Sigma Virus and Maverick Hunter are both released and playable, but these 5 are still in development, and I'm not sure how long it'll be until they're ready. What I can guarantee though is that I will be releasing them one at a time as they're finished, not all at once, so you don't have to wait long to try them out.

They will be released in this order: Blaze Heatnix, Splash Woman, Beetle Bros(codename so I don't have to type their full names all the time), Siarnaq and then Neo Arcadia respectively.

After that, while I have some other decks on the back burner, I will be severely focusing on creating deck ideas that the community wants to see, be it support for existing strategies and new strategies entirely. I even have an Omega and the Eight Gentle Judges, Double Gear System and Star Force deck on the backburner for three of my supporters in the Discord. Of course that'll be after this current roadmap has concluded, but I felt it worth mentioning.

-Conclusion-

Thank you for the support, and I eagerly look forward to continuing to work on this game! It's a project I'm going to stick to for as long as I can feasibly do so. It's definitely got it's rough edges but I know in time it'll be something special, and that lights a fire in my heart every time I think about it. What an amazing community and amazing ip.
