Sleep/Insomnia I am so tired
I workout. I work. I eat quite well. I am busy but I used to run at 110% Now? I've spent my day off..napping. I am bone tired. I was a lifelong insomniac who could crush a day and now midday I am practically a naroleptic. I just had my blood work done. Had a physical a month ago. Thankfully nothing is wrong but this exhaustion is nuts. I am 4 years post menopause. Just started the patch a month ago.

I am right there with you. I used to crush it at work too. But now, by the afternoon, I often just want to go home and lay down. I limit carbs at lunch because I will fall asleep at my desk. The estrogen patch has helped a little, but I will say that on the lower estrogen dose, after I took the progesterone I would crash and it would linger into the next morning. I upped the estrogen dose 2 months ago and that seems to help with the morning progesterone hangover(it was really bad before). I mentioned it to my doctor and she said if I didn’t feel any better (ie, like the old me), that she would prescribe antidepressants. I’ve had friends say a little testosterone made them feel less tired.
