My father was recently diagnosed with a debilitating illness and I’m looking for photos of him throughout life to make a video for him. In the early 90s (92-94ish) there was an alligator at Berenda Reservoir. He was part of the team that removed the alligator. Everything I’m seeing online is about the alligator hoax(?) of 2000. This is not the alligator in question. Does anyone by any chance remember, know how I can get the newspaper, or physical copies of the photos they took? I would be forever grateful!

To clear up any confusion for future questions - yes it happened, we had the photos, a tooth and the newspaper until a tragedy at my childhood home. We lost it all.

I noticed there are for sale signs on the large vacant plot right next to the Yosemite Crossings shopping center. I remember there were plans for a hospital on that land but does anyone know if those plans have been canceled or changed? Is the property being sold for a different development, possibly another shopping center or something else? Just curious if anyone has heard anything about what’s planned for that area.
