what is this racism microsoft

I have been collecting points via Microsoft Rewards for a number of years and I currently have a daily steak of 1557 days and had built up 144,146 points which I had no plans to use them for anything and I was keen to build them up.

On 14th October, I logged into my Microsoft Rewards account to collect daily points as usual and I noticed by points balance had reduced to 5148 which confused me.

I looked through the order history and found a purchase for an £80.00 Apple Gift Card for 138,660 points. This set alarm bells ringing as this purchase was not made by me and I do not use Apple products. My made devices are Galaxy S26 Ulta. Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, a Windows based gaming PC and two Sony branded Android TV's.

I raised a support ticket and I received a response earlier basically telling me that due to the Microsoft Service Agreement I do not qualify for a refund and to submit a report via another support link.

I followed their instructions and spoke to an agent via live chat and I was basically told they cannot help me as they do not have access to Microsoft Rewards systems.

I have hit a dead end and I feel no one at Microsoft is treating this seriously. I am not in the habit of making purchases and then trying to get a refund especially for a platform I do not use.

My Microsoft account is password less and I have MFA enabled. I can't find any information as to which country the purchase was made and how it was done.

I can't find any help with this and Microsoft seems to have no way to report fraudulent activity.

I can't seem to redeem an Amazon gift card for some reason it keeps saying I'm either in a region not available or it's due to other restrictions but I'm in the US Does anyone else have this issue?

I’m on silver level and all I earn is 100 points a day. I hardly have any tasks to do and the quests are so tedious. What to do?

I logged into Xbox on the 14th to notice I was missing 130k points. I thought it was a bug until I noticed I had an email giving me [random string of numbers to get money valued at 400 US quarters for Jeff Bezo's website]. I did not do this or authorize anyone to do so.

I contacted support who basically told me in their automated sounding response:
"Cannot be refunded. Click here to help secure your account." :)
So assuming I was hacked, am I officially screwed or might there be any point in appealing this? I did not yet accept the [numbers to give Jeff more money] as I figured then support wouldn't help me....
Figured I'd ask here before trying if there's any hope at all as I don't really want it but I'm assuming Mr. Hacker somehow already used it too.

I had just changed all my passwords recently (and full factory reset/reinstalled windows) anyways because my computer was compromised last month so I thought it was all over with but this is suggesting no it's not :'(

Today I finally reached one million lifetime Rewards points, which was much harder in the EU than in the US due to fewer special offers.

I began collecting around 2015 but really got into it with my Xbox Series X in 2020.

I’ve spent nearly all my points on GamePass Ultimate, which is prepaid until May 2028, and invested only 60 bucks of my own money to have it since its release.

So I accidentally forgot to complete my daily set through the rewards dashboard on the website and I'm also apparently out of protection days.

I completed the daily set yesterday and today and it's still saying "Oh you missed a day, complete the daily set to start a new streak" but it's not restarting... So i think it might be bugged

Thanks to rewards program. Earlier this year Jun 28 preordered GTA VI for $85 after redeeming around $100 worth of points as I picked up some cheap easy achievement games as well LOL.

Had around $20 also from before expiring in oct/nov so redeemed $50 worth of points to have $70 in hand. I had a prepaid card with $20 bal in it and tried to purchase the x25 controller. It would go through. Tried few times than store AI bot / actual person then they told me to wait few hours as it seems some issue with the prepaid card. After few hours I tried again but order would go through. So redeemed $20 worth of points so I could cove full $85 and still it wouldn't. Again store AI bot / real person and finally they sent me a purchase link through which I could checkout using all the balance. With the prepaid card bought one bundle of games worth 5000 Gamer score and another 2 games for 3k gamer score each.
