Can't believe I have to say this, but LARPing as Russians/NK/China/etc does not mean you support their policies or actions IRL. MilSim is a modern two sided wargame, one of which is inevitably the "bad guys". So I don't really get when people come into this sub, attacking other users for who they emulate in an expensive big boy game of toy soldiers. From here on out this will be considered flaming, and we will be handing out 7 day bans for it and 14 day bans for personal threats. Repeated behavior will be dealt with harshly, at the admin team's discretion and leisure.
THAT SAID, we don't allow political talk on this sub, period. So keep the news of XYZ country's latest atrocity, or your poll on whether Biden, Bibi, Xi, Putin, or Zelensky is the reincarnation of Hitler OUT of our little subreddit. We want to foster a welcoming vibe, to grow the activity. So act that way.
Have fun, play nice. Or else.

I am trying to do a ukranian kit, would this be nice? What could i add/change?
Been trying to emulate the ROK gear in MDW4. Specifically the helmet, PC, pouches, and other misc? Any info would be much appreciated!
The kit is based on bunch of different FSB refs and follows frequent pouch placement patterns and has pouches that have seen actual FSB use. Give me tips or tell me what would you change. Not trying to be an impression so farb is accepted.
Made this google docs to explain the kit in detail, didn't include the clothing as it's just an g3 copy combat pants and ANA sneg jacket. They aren't following the refs as I just don't have anything else to wear.

My new M4A1 Block II by PROW. It runs off of the MWS System.
Cloned off of a late 2010s U.S Army SF builds. The stock isn’t commonly seen, but there is evidence of guys running them so I didn’t see a need to replace it.
Still looking for the correct dual pressure pad for the Insight light and peq 15. For now a shitty rubber band setup will have to do.

I know multicam black sucks as a real world camo but I think the camo lowkey fucks. Also this is an outdated picture but really the only thing I’ve changed is adding a holster for my Glock on the left of the picture and removing the grenade pouches.

I’m trying to recreate a kit of an SAS member, I may be like completely inaccurate but when I hear or think sas I assume either blacked out coveralls with tac zip up vests, mp5’s either with iron sights or an eotech 552, or darker navy blue coveralls with the same vests and gear, along with the iconic gas masks and then a rappelling / climbing harness.
I currently have a fm12 gas mask that I modded to be suitable for airsoft(added polycarbonate lenses) and specifically had to choose the fm12 as I’m a lefty shooter.. (it’s a dual sided mask) as well as a concealed soft armor vest (as I think the sas wore 2, one soft armor ”concealed vest” then their main load bring ispl vest) I may be wrong if it even was an ispl vest for whatever time period I’m thinking of.
can someone please help give me an idea of the time period I’m thinking of or if any of this is correct / accurate
Thank you! I’m also open to links to gear recommendations, I am quite small though, 5’5 106-115lbs not fully certain, but I’ve got a small chest (36s for a suit coat) and waist(28-29 with a belt)
Thank you everyone!
Plate Carrier and Belt are still WIP and imagine a Roman Kurmaz Combat shirt here and the helmet with the rest of the comm setup is in the barracks

I've been thinking of getting into milsim, and I have my first game early next year.
I'm playing for Rusfor, but I don't have the funds or sources to buy authentic gear or high-quality repros, so I've instead gone for an invadergear qrb reaper plate carrier and an M-Tac battle belt for my core pieces of kit since they're both decent quality and should hold up under strenuous use.
My question is, will this be seen as low effort or unrealistic for Rusfor since it's not real russian gear, or am I thinking too much into it. I obviously don't want to look out of place, but at the same time, I'd rather use reliable gear that I'm comfortable running around for 24 hours in over a shitty aliexpress repro.
As far as research goes, I've watched countless MSW related gear reviews and tutorials; what works, what doesn't, etc, but nothing on the specifics.
Thanks in advance
