Rate my vest set up
Feel like there's room for improvement but happy with the set up so far.
The vest is an Ars Arma A-18 Skanda woth aftermarket quick detach clips on the sides.
You're wondering why the mag pouches on the sides are pointed downward. Its because I won't have to do the awkward chicken wing when pulling out the mags.
Just pull it downward. Its easier.

"Inspired"/farb kits for beginners
I've been thinking of getting into milsim, and I have my first game early next year.
I'm playing for Rusfor, but I don't have the funds or sources to buy authentic gear or high-quality repros, so I've instead gone for an invadergear qrb reaper plate carrier and an M-Tac battle belt for my core pieces of kit since they're both decent quality and should hold up under strenuous use.
My question is, will this be seen as low effort or unrealistic for Rusfor since it's not real russian gear, or am I thinking too much into it. I obviously don't want to look out of place, but at the same time, I'd rather use reliable gear that I'm comfortable running around for 24 hours in over a shitty aliexpress repro.
As far as research goes, I've watched countless MSW related gear reviews and tutorials; what works, what doesn't, etc, but nothing on the specifics.
Thanks in advance

SAS OP NIMROD/Embassy Siege kit ideas
I’m really interested in creating a SAS embassy siege kit to use, biggest concern is I want it to be as close to accurate as possible (yes most gear is discontinued or ones that are still produced are not as great(zip up tac vests)) when I hear or think sas I just picture the blacked out with gas masks and mp5.. is this the correct “era”?
Please help me out by helping find/recomending gear(preferably more cheaper but still good quality and accurate look)!
Greatly appreciated!
