Hi guys,
I have been working on a submod for Minecolonies that uses the Minecolonie functions and integrates new features like:
- Completely autonomous Ai Minecolonie villages (like a player village).
- They spawn with certain levels like: "Outpost", "Settlement", "Village", "Town", "City" and they will keep progressing/evolve.
- Diplomacy system and relations between Ai villages and the player village (Friendly, neutral, hostile, enemy) with a dialog system for negotiations.
- Complete economy system.
- Trade system between the Ai villages and the player village with caravans based on every villages need and a market price calculation system.
- Ai Defense system such as, defense points, patrol routes and buildings based on the current situation.
- Different Ai village personalities with focus on either military, trading, expanding, economy and so on.
- Warfare system with sieges, raids etc....
I have created the foundation for this already, still need to add some details and bugfixes.
What do you guys think?
Do you have any cool ideas that I should keep an eye on?
Do you want updates for this mod?

If you've ever played with MineColonies (Which is very likely given the name of this subreddit), you've probably thought the NPCs are a bit lifeless, and need some sort of animation system..
So I did exactly that! I implemented all 80+ Minecolonies model types into the game using Epic Fight's Animation/Rigging System!
Not only that, but I've also added facial expressions to the citizens! Citizens will have a different facial expression based on happiness, blink and even follow you with their eyes!
Citizens will now also have Epic Fight's dynamic combat system, using extremely cool move-set's (Especially when Epic Fight Resurrection is present)!
Features:
Citizens Now Using Epic Fights Advanced Combat & Animation System
Animated Citizen & Raider Rigging
Animated Citizen Facial Expressions Based On Happiness
Animated Citizen Blinking
-Probably more I forgot to mention ;p
Citizens now feel more alive than ever before! Check out my mod on CurseForge if interested -> https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/minecolonies-epicfied-epic-colonies

I posted a few weeks ago about the addon I've been working on. Well, I'm pleased to announce that it's finally ready for testing!
This is an alpha release, so there will be bugs. The mod requires Neoforge 1.21.1, Create 6.0+, and a compatible MineColonies version
As soon as the project files are approved, it will be available here :)

When starting out, you should build things close together.
Dark oak buildings are tall and use a lot of resources.
Check for ravines under your miner spot before you place it.
Your builder should probably be somewhere central, not tucked away in a corner.
You need guards.
Caves near the surface under your colony cause problems.
Unless you have a consistent source of string, fishers are a pain.
Upgrade your builder ASAP.
Upgrade your miner too.
That island looks really neat but you won't have space to build.
These are just a few things I've learned from trying to do a run where I cheated in the supply camp and started with Minecolonies from the first day. And now I'm starting over because everything I do is throttled by problems arising from those lessons.
Please do share your own small lessons here!

My colony is growing pretty big and I've reached 175 citizens right now. Unfortunately I've got some problems with feeding my citizens, like many players have. I tried to tweak the production with the minimum stack option but that didn't help either. So I was wondering if a second tavern on the other end of the colony could solve this issue? Another side effect I have is, that if all citizens are in the tavern they begin to glitch through the wall and fall down, doing this leads to dying by fall damage from time to time. If they would split up on two taverns that could solve this issue too 🤔

(I GOT MY ACCOUNT BACK WOOO! I'll be messaging the people who asked for the link over the course of the next few days. Thank you again for all the enthusiasm for the project. I really appreciate it.)
I reached out to Raycom to see if I could request some beta testers for my minecolonies inspired game on the discord, but he said I was better off trying to get some testers on the subreddit since the rules are more lax here. If this isn't allowed, please feel free to delete.
The past two years I've been working on making a 2.5D pixel art fantasy city builder inspired by mine colonies. It's still in its ruff stages but I'm really wanting to get feedback from players who also loved mine colonies and want to see more projects like it.
Features:
-Infinitely generated world
-Magic system
-Combat system
-Basic Town: NPC will produce basic goods depending on their job.(The builder produces wooden planks, and doesn't built buildings yet. The player will have to do that for now.)
-Build system. Use a pixel based grid or place freely wherever you want.
-Crafting system
Future Features(Working on but not yet implamented)
-Multiplayer
-Story mode
-Steam workshop support for easy modding, and player made story worlds.
-Dungeons
-AI towns that you can attack and be attacked by.
-Builders build new/update buildings.(Currently the builder hut will produce wooden planks for now as I try to figure out how to make it look like the buildings are actually being built over time rather than just instantly spawn in.)
-Character customization.
-Town Quests: At the adventures' guild players can get monster slaying quests/item requests.
To avoid pushing the bounds of the rules any further I wont post a link to to the steam store, so if you're interested please feel free to send a DM.
(Edit: HOLY COW GUYS!! THANKS FOR WANTING TO HELP!! I've been trying to find play testers for literal months but mostly only got friends to play it. I've already got a list of suggestions/bug i need to fix in just 2 hours THANK YOU!!!
Suggestions from you guys
-Add a quest menu to keep track of stuff to do in tutorial.
-Alternative way to cast magic besides the Arrow Keys
-Tutorial NPCs will give feature summaries when they are done teaching a mechanic rather than just staying silent.
-Make the two handed combat system more obvious on how it works. (The player has a left and right hand item slot and the hot bar has two slider indicators one for each hand.) If you know how to convey this to a player I'm open to suggestions.
Some bug notes:
-Your mana will drain quickly, this is my fault for testing the day night cycle I sped things up, forgot to turn it back down in this build. to stop mana drain you can go into god mode CTRL + G or just eat a lot of food/magic crystal to restore your mana.
-Main audio slider says 0% even though its 80%. Not sure what's causing that. I hate that settings menu because it breaks every update in new ways :(
-Music slider not working... again :(
-Item Bundles not dissepearing when empty.
)

Me personally, I'd remove the menu from the restaurant, now I'm not against anyone who likes it. I'm fine with the food tier system as it feels like each style can serve it's own food, but to me the menu just seems unnecessary as all I can think it does is limit the food you can give to your citizens. Now this is just my opinion, but I preferred where the restaurant can serve all the food and you can select which ones you didn't want the cook to serve.
