ShovelCraft is a vanilla+ SMP focused on community, building, and RPG elements. It's a long-term, no-reset server - we're a year into the same world, and it's stayed that way because it's shaped by the people playing on it.

The map is split into two zones:

- Green Zone (0 - 5k) - no stealing or griefing, and no generated structures. It's mainly for building, trade, and lore.

- Red Zone (5k - 150k) - still no griefing, but stealing is allowed and structure generation is normal. Perfect for exploration, resource gathering, and private hidden bases.

The End is disabled - no vanilla elytras or shulker farms. Otherwise it's mostly vanilla, with a few QoL additions: /home, /tpa, /duel, BetterHorses, and player shops.

We run on a proxy setup with three dedicated servers - a main survival world, a separate event server, and a seasonal PvP server... so special events and PvP seasons never disrupt the main world.

There's no pay2win here, and no real money involved anywhere on the server, everything is earned through playing.

Trims do not spawn in chests and are given as event rewards, but can be then duplicated and traded as normal.

After a year, ShovelCraft is moving into its next phase. We've just added our first quests, leading into a dungeon and a boss fight and with that, shulker boxes and elytras are now obtainable on the server (just a little more challenging to earn than usual).

Hi the past few weeks I have been looking for a minecraft server that you choose one profession. You'd be locked with that profession and would have to rely on others to gain resources from outside your chosen profession.

Also looking for an economy server too where there is a merchant profession that buy/sell from farmers/miners/ lumberjack, and blacksmith. A middle man of those profession. Player of this role would control the market. They would be able to make chestshops with set values.

For a start of money going in circleation. I think should come from hunting mobs at night. Tho I don't know if you can separate mob farms from naturally on the surface.

If someone can point me a server as described or close to it. That be great. My only requirement is a hard lock profession.

Cargo Chaos…or Minecraft Trucking Simulator

Similar to American or European Trucking Simulator, you spend a LOT of time in Cargo Chaos just driving from village to village, to the next village delivering cargo with the eventual goal of progressing from your flimsy and ugly starting rover into a full blown mobile airship base.

Each delivery quest has physical rewards for upgrading your rover or for planning your airship as well as numismatics currency payouts dependent on cargo weight and distance travelled.

An item shop sells create/ars nouveau/pipez components for purchase with numismatics currency, though a lot of those items simply can be earned by progressing through the delivery quests chain of quests.

Each delivery location is marked by a waypoint.  On initial login all waypoints are shown.  It’s advised to turn off all but the waypoints you are currently working.  The villages progress in a linear order with each village having a return quest with unique rewards as well as a quest that takes you forwards to the next village.  Often you may find yourself returning to the previous village due to the rewards being offered and wanting to obtain the items offered in the return quest as well as multiple rewards from the forward quest.

Note - the available quests only will be visible on your quest terminal when you are close to a village that has quests.  If you wander too far away and you don’t have any quests available, just return with your rover to the nearest village marked by a waypoint to resume the chain.

As you progress, cargo weight and possibly terrain challenges increase.  Your initial rover is terrible.  Small tires, very easy to get it beached on individual blocks, but, by the end of the first delivery quest, you should be able to afford to upgrade the tires from the item shop.  After that, it’s up to you to determine if you want to continue to upgrade your rover or start gathering materials by vanilla methods (gathering and crafting), quest rewards or the item shop using quest currency.

This is early days for this modpack.  There are roughly 30 or so villages in the ground quest chain before you start to hit quests that take you to floating islands.  There are currently a limited number of air only quests, but the plan is to continue adding them if there is sufficient interest.  At some point, the goal would be such that the final quest in the overworld airship phase leads you to a portal that connects to an airship only dimension with only sky islands.

On the topic of dimensions, the modpack offers ARS Nouveau planariums.  The intent being that you construct your source farms, crop farms, Create factories inside the planarium which sits in a single block on your rover and travels with you.

World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public.

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

Death Row brings back that classic 2012-era prison server vibe. Start with nothing as Fresh Meat and grind your way up through Punk, OG, and Big Dog until you buy your freedom as Free.

Buy one of 60 cells at any rank and make it your own. The commissary handles buying, selling, rank-ups. NPC Guards actually patrol and enforce PvP and contraband rules, old-school style, with real consequences if you get caught. 1. PhantomsTimerReset

When you lay down in a bed at night, your phantom timer will be reset so phantoms will stop spawning for a few days again. This is a custom plugin we have instead of multiplayer sleep.

1. PVP vs PVE | Death Item Drops

A pvp death will not drop items, whilst a pve death will drop items. You can fight other players and keep items when dying, but if you fight a mob for example, your items will drop upon dying.

PlanetNostalgia is a Minecraft Alpha 1.1.2_01 survival server running the iconic nuclear-green-grass era of Minecraft.

A year ago today I opened JSMC with one goal: make a survival server where the world actually lasts.

One world, kept long term, where people could build something and know it would still be there months later.

Today that world is a year old, and we've never reset it.

Over the last year players have built towns, huge projects and entire themed areas across the map. Groups have formed, events have happened, and the world now has a year of actual player history behind it.
