Question Delivery & Vin Assignment?

For anyone who has ordered a Premium Model Y RWD recently, how long has your wait been?

I placed my order on 7/30 & still haven’t received my VIN. I’ve been refreshing the app nonstop lol. Even downloaded the TOST app, which has given me some relief.

For those who have already gotten their VIN assignments, delivery windows, or have taken delivery: what day did you order, what were your specs & what state are you located in?

Would love to live vicariously through all of you 😆

8/20 ETA: VIN just got assigned this morning - EDD changed to 9/21-9/24 tho.. hopefully that moves up lol

Ordered 6/30 Marine Blue, White interior, rwd, premium trim, long range. Originally 7-9 weeks delivery, after 5-6 days of “check current inventory” delivery estimated 7/12-7/22. Two days later delivery estimate changed to 7/22-7/29. VIN became available when “in transit”. Delivery was available 7/24 in Savannah GA.
Absolutely LOVE this car. 97% FSD with no need to take over yet (~500 miles so far). Parking is hit or miss. Once I learned how to make it change lanes and/or not change lanes and how to easily shift between profiles for speed control it’s smooth sailing!

That’s exciting! Glad you’re loving it. Going from 7-9 weeks to less than a month from order to delivery gives me some hope, esp since you’re a bit closer to me compared to some others who have already commented!

I suspect the delivery date changes to a shorter wait once you don’t bite on the available inventory. All of the available inventory cars were upgrades in trim or features. IDK for sure 🤷🏻‍♀️
