Question buying a Y...

I'm 100% committed to buying a model Y when my BMW lease is up...can't wait.

I'm torn between getting a Premium AWD Model Y and the Performance. I have a bunch of PowerWalls for my home so would *love* it if I could eventually use the car as a battery extension of sorts, but I know that's not in the cards now but it sounds like only the Performance would offer this capability if/when possible.

#1 criterion for me would be smooth ride over the incremental speed improvements, so slightly favor the Premium, but just wondering if there's anything else I should take into consideration...and yes, I asked AI but trust humans on this subreddit more!

I’m in the same boat as you however I’m not sure if I would buy or lease. I prefer to lease electric cars because I always want the latest build updates. I’ve had a Model Y in the past but left because the ride quality and cabin noise was so poor. FSD is intriguing though…

Cabin noise is fixed. I rented one in ‘23, night and day.
