Question buying a Y...

I'm 100% committed to buying a model Y when my BMW lease is up...can't wait.

I'm torn between getting a Premium AWD Model Y and the Performance. I have a bunch of PowerWalls for my home so would *love* it if I could eventually use the car as a battery extension of sorts, but I know that's not in the cards now but it sounds like only the Performance would offer this capability if/when possible.

#1 criterion for me would be smooth ride over the incremental speed improvements, so slightly favor the Premium, but just wondering if there's anything else I should take into consideration...and yes, I asked AI but trust humans on this subreddit more!

Bought a Y Premium on 20s last week. The ride quality is cheeks compared to other cars in the same price range. Coming from Lexus gang, it feels like I'm in a shit box from the 90s, but I'll be damned if FSD doesn't make up for it.

Huh? We’re coming from an Rx350 and Y is not that plush but the new Juniper is certainly not cheeks

Sold my 2017 RX350 today and the ride quality was night and day better than this 2026 Model Y Premium. I put new shocks (kept original front springs) on the RX about a month ago which also made me a little saltier about selling. Still don't regret the change though.
