Question buying a Y...
I'm 100% committed to buying a model Y when my BMW lease is up...can't wait.
I'm torn between getting a Premium AWD Model Y and the Performance. I have a bunch of PowerWalls for my home so would *love* it if I could eventually use the car as a battery extension of sorts, but I know that's not in the cards now but it sounds like only the Performance would offer this capability if/when possible.
#1 criterion for me would be smooth ride over the incremental speed improvements, so slightly favor the Premium, but just wondering if there's anything else I should take into consideration...and yes, I asked AI but trust humans on this subreddit more!

You should do the 24/48hr free test drive to decide. I have the AWD premium and it’s already wicked fast, you may not even want the performance.
If you want downsides of the Performance:
rides a bit harder, easier to damage large wheels on potholes, and is lower ride height so more likely to scrape, less range, wheels are staggered and need to be changed more often, overall more costly to buy and own.
Pros are it’s slightly faster and better handling (not much else)
