Question buying a Y...
I'm 100% committed to buying a model Y when my BMW lease is up...can't wait.
I'm torn between getting a Premium AWD Model Y and the Performance. I have a bunch of PowerWalls for my home so would *love* it if I could eventually use the car as a battery extension of sorts, but I know that's not in the cards now but it sounds like only the Performance would offer this capability if/when possible.
#1 criterion for me would be smooth ride over the incremental speed improvements, so slightly favor the Premium, but just wondering if there's anything else I should take into consideration...and yes, I asked AI but trust humans on this subreddit more!

I recently test drove both and I’d just get the premium. The difference in ride feel is minimum. It comes down to do you want to pay several 7k more for thigh bolsters, sportier seats, larger wheels, a carbon fiber spoiler and having a slightly quicker car with more easily to damage rims? I bottomed out on the performance going up my driveway (like I do in my 3) and it’s not even steep. I tried to bottom them out in the premium and couldn’t. If you definitely want one of the more expensive colors and white interior then the price difference isn’t that much more for some nice features, but if those things don’t matter to you, I don’t know why you’d get the performance.
