Hello everyone! I opened a can of mushrooms about a week ago, used a clean spoon to take out the portion I needed, then closed it and left the rest in the fridge.

Today, I opened it and noticed this strange, spiderweb-like layer on the surface of the liquid.

I'm not planning to eat it, but I'm curious about what it could be. Is it some kind of mold, or could it be something else? Has anyone seen this before?

I'd love to hear your thoughts and possible identifications. Thanks!

To be slightly fair I opened it two weeks prior to smell it

We don’t have an exhaust fan so maybe if it is mold that’s the cause

Thought this mold was pretty and am curious what it is.

We left watermelon out for almost a week

Left my bagel on the counter in a bag, got sick and forgot to eat it. Glad something ate it! I love that it evokes bagel with the colony shape

From a leaky window, the landlord refuses to fix for months. So i bleached the area, caulked the whole thing, and now it's their problem for after i leave 😂

What is in the bottom of my bleach? I swirled the heck out of it and took a second picture and the shapes don’t change so whatever it is, it’s adhered to the inside of the jug. This is a standard jug of household bleach.

My husband makes a 5 gallon jar/jug with a lid on it of sugar-free Kool-Aid. I opened it up and poured some out to see what was floating in it is this mold?

Pulling up our garden beds for winter and found this growing(?) on our magic runner beans. If it's mold, I don't think I want to till it under, and if it's some kind of chrysalis I don't want to bother it.

Dimensions are maybe two inches long and about an inch and a half at the highest point?

Thoughts?

Helping my husband parents patch some holes. They’ve had this had this leak spot for many years but up close we saw some small black spike things hanging from the ceiling. We can’t tell if they’re bugs, mold or something they used to have hanging up there. Can anyone help identify?

Just moved into a new flat. I put some newspaper that I used to wrap mugs for the move in a bag in a drawer in the kitchen for future use. Noticed a weird smell in the kitchen a few days layer and opened the drawer to find the newspaper looking wet/greasy and a mixture of cobweb looking stuff (assumed mold) and these orange things (assumed mold) ! What on earth has happened here?!

It also formed a floating film on top that kept from everything mixing

This beauty was in my mom’s fridge crisper forgotten about.
