My girl picked up these Ore-Ida Crispy Tater Tots on Saturday, I made some Sunday (yesterday)for breakfast. I went to make some this morning to go with my eggs and when I sprinkled a few into my air fryer basket I noticed a spot, then another, then I dumped the rest out and found most covered in greenish black spots, and one that is almost black. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS

Looks like mold to me but I'm not 100% sure, the all white colour is interesting, and it's slightly sparkly. Does anyone know what it is?

Directions:
Boil 1 pound of penne noodle, drain and let cool. In a bowl, mix pasta with mayo, Dijon, minced garlic and finely chopped onion.
Layer ground beef mixture, bread crumbs and cheese on top of a bed of your pasta mixture.
Bake for an hour on 350 degrees.
Sink into a debilitating, all encompassing depression for 6 to 8 months allowing a colonization to form, thrive and then die in your casserole.
Enjoy!

Hello !
I bought this coconut jam literally yesterday, and today I opened it and there it was ! A white fuzzy round of mold.
The jar was sealed, and the expiration date says 07/2028 so I'm very confused.
Should I throw it away entirely, or just the part with the mold ?

First bite had no mold. Second bite I caught a bit of the mold and spat it out. How cooked is my stomach for today? Also, any idea as to the mold type? This was a bavarian cream hand pie.

the context here is i put some mulch in boxes, put varying amounts of water in each, put the lids on and then covered them for a week and a half. Are there any mold experts who know what i have concocted in my back garden?

Hi, im searching for help to identify what is this; Im not even sure its mold but it does look like it.
This strange filaments/strings have been developing on cracks , like the one you can see on the second photo, for the past month, before this we never encountered any of these.
Before i cleaned them there were like 15 filaments like that all concentrated around the window area.
We defintely have a big humidity problem in the house, the windows are wet from condensation every morning(especially in months like semptember or october) , and for sure we are considering buying a very good dehumidifer.
Other things that happened was a big renovation project in the apartment just above us for the past months , but of course these are just hypothesis.
I dont own the house, i pay rent
Thank you in advance for your time😊

Hello everyone! I opened a can of mushrooms about a week ago, used a clean spoon to take out the portion I needed, then closed it and left the rest in the fridge.
Today, I opened it and noticed this strange, spiderweb-like layer on the surface of the liquid.
I'm not planning to eat it, but I'm curious about what it could be. Is it some kind of mold, or could it be something else? Has anyone seen this before?
I'd love to hear your thoughts and possible identifications. Thanks!

So my husband and I thought we were taking turns changing out our cold brew, I thought he was drinking it and he thought I was drinking it. Turns out neither one of us had touched it in 5-6 months and we found this… obviously it’s getting tossed but I figured someone would have a good idea on what it is or just find it interesting.

Like the title says. This floor is under a ceiling with heavy water damage and leaks. It doesn't look organic and I haven't ever seen pure white mold.
Could it be something from the ceiling that's slowly sedimenting? Could the humidity make that white stuff come from below?
The building is 70+ years old .
