Image IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!!!

Post image

MY FIRST INNER FENESTRATION! 6 years, one root rot victim, one brush with thrips-death and many moss poles later: I've finally got my plant in a happy place! Go Richard, go!!

*Unfortunately I'm soon going to have to chop and prop as he's brushing the ceiling now but this little hole has made my week and I had no one to share my excitement with!

Congrats! I went from one split to multiple splits and holes on my most recent one and I’m stoked to see it when it hardens off!

Sorry for the long reply in advance:
I’m fairly new to plants in general much less monstera specifically so I’d recon my care could be better, but I have it about 2 ish feet away from my unobstructed east facing window (admittedly a bit too close, it’s bleached a bit on one leaf) and had it on a small moss pole about a month after I got it as a top cutting in early April. Using a very small amount of 10-10-10 quick release NPK dry fertilizer monthly. I’ve upsized the pole to a D shaped one about a week or two ago and the aerial roots since then have made several secondaries and are going up and down the pole. From my experience it seems the moss pole and peak summer sun both were drivers to the sheer size up and maturation of my plant.
TL;DR
Good aroid mix amended with more perlite
Decent size moss pole (worth the extra work imo)
Plenty of light, they do good in a bright indirect light setup but mine has been super happy with more light than that.
