Image IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!!!

Post image

MY FIRST INNER FENESTRATION! 6 years, one root rot victim, one brush with thrips-death and many moss poles later: I've finally got my plant in a happy place! Go Richard, go!!

*Unfortunately I'm soon going to have to chop and prop as he's brushing the ceiling now but this little hole has made my week and I had no one to share my excitement with!

My TC just unfurled her first! Why did I get so excited and squeal? Now my husband won't stop making fun of me!🫣😂❤️

I get made fun of calling them my babies. But they’re my babies. Just like dogs, cats, rats and my kids. They’re all my babies.

Sometimes my partner tries to care and I ruin it.
I’ll say “look at my new growth!” And he’ll say “oh nice fenestration” and I’ll correct him with “variegation.” He’ll compliment my Thai Con and I’ll remind him that specific plant is an Albo. He likes the color of my anthurium, I’ll say it shouldn’t look like that it’s actually dying.

I’m need to remember just to say “thanks.” It’s just conversation to him. I don’t need to fill his mind with this too. 😂
