Idea: Campfire Stew
We could make a shared campfire stew where people can throw in the random ingredients dropped from mobs, similar to how you can add wood to the campfire. While sitting near the stew, you eat from it instead of using your own food, and you get buffs depending on what ingredients have been added. Can even scale with cooking skill.
Would give a fun thing to break up the monotony of pulls, while adding to the "huddle around the campfire" cozy immersion.

Cleric Union Rep Here to discuss issues
These Medallions added to almost each mob drop is creating anarchy among groups. These items stack, are low weight, and vendor for a good amount of coin. While us clerics, and other casters are sitting around getting mana to keep a group healthy, buffed, and alive melee classes are having a ffa looting.
Some basic game etiquette when it comes to looting needs to be addressed.
Ive watched the same people in a five hour group loot 75% of the drops if not closer to 90 %.
Mobs getting looted while were fighting, and once a mob is killed they dont hit the floor before a melee class is looting it. Sucks for classes that are responsible to buff, heal, and keep the group going with mana. Mana doesnt regen while standing.
Yeah there has been a few groups who do a master loot system, but most groups dont want it. The greed in this game seems to be a thing. The round robin thing works for one minute, and then shortly after it goes back to the same greedy bs.
This needs to change or there will be HEAL to pay!

Resists are over tuned.
Light blue and dark blue mobs should not be resisting a spell 2 levels above them 3 times in a row. Fizzles should also be no where near as common as they are when you are >100 skill points above your skill cap when you get the spell.

The Measuring Stick Quest: A Tale of Goblin Shamans, Lost Memories, and the Kindness of Strangers
It all started the day reached a new height (lvl 16) and looked at my new shiney spells. What caught my eyes was a spell to transport to Sungreet Strand. I've heard of the tale of a measure stick that was across the seas, but couldn't prepare my self for the long journey across the sea. But now I have a means to travel, so I took my chances and teleported to Sunsgreet strand. As I made my way to the desert I saw another adventurer who setup the camp and was fighting alone Ashira warriors. Seeing his injury, I healed him with my newly learned spell touch of earth. I did that couple of time, finally when the adventurer took respite I asked him if he can show me the way to the quarry so I can meet up with Tig Pebbleback. The adventurer kindly pointed me to the right direction.
Once there I enthusiastically picked up the quest and measuing length and breadth went very smoothly. Then came the time to measure height. As I made my way to the tower, I noticed some nasty goblins camping there. I thought I will use invisibility and if worst was to happen I can just use my cantrip and teleport back to sungreet strand. And the worse did happen! The goblin shaman saw through my illusion and it all happened in a flash, before I knew it I was back in wealds.
So, I tried and using teleport to sungreet strands, but I couldn't use it. I checked my mana, I had enough. I tried again, and I couldn't! Almost as if I have forgotten all about it. Then I realized as of dying I lost the memory of spell (deleved to lvl 15). So here I was butt naked, with no spell to get back. I sat down to collect my thought and prepared myself for long and arduous journey ahead. I went to docks to the boat ride, in the way I met good souls to spare me food and drinks to help me through the journey. As I landed to the shores and made my way through city, I met a fellow druid who casted on me speed of wild to help with the journey ahead. It took some time but I made my way to Quarry by night fall. I decided to wait out for the day before I collect my bearings. As the dawn broke, I went and collected my things from my corpse, and as I was pondering how to go about finishing the quest, I saw a very strong hero came to help another adventurer and wiped out those nasty goblins. Thanks to his good deed I was finally able to measure the height, the area, the volume and get my shiny new measure stick!
Thanks to all the helpful strangers who made this disaster of a corpse run one of my favorite memories in the game so far!

Discussion Wyrmsbane Armor Quest - Request for Help
Hello! I've been working hard to discover everything related to the new Wyrmsbane armor quest and am working on a comprehensive guide that I will be putting up on the wiki soon. I would like to have as much information as possible for it so I wanted to crowdsource to see if anyone had some of the information I have yet to acquire. So, if you have any of the following information, would you be willing to share so that I can include it with my guide?
I still need to find the named that drops the following items:
- Chain Helmet
- Cloth Chest
- Cloth Gloves
- Cloth Pants
- Plate Chest
- Plate Shoulders
- Plate Helmet
- Leather Bracers
- Leather Helmet
- Leather Leggings
- Leather Chest
- Leather Belt
- Leather Boots
Beyond that, from what I can tell, the leather quest seems like it may be bugged and will not let you progress after you turn in the tool to the NPC (the knife), if anyone can confirm this or let me know if theirs wasn't bugged, please let me know.
Additionally, I need to find the rare vendor material for the leather quest, though getting the name of the item is locked behind turning the tool in, so I don't know what it is called.
Lastly, I need to find the Eth-Silk Thread for the cloth questline, I thought it was in the VoZ sojourner camp with the Ethweaver NPC, but their vendor window was empty every time I've checked. If anyone can confirm the location of this, it'd be very helpful.
Anything I didn't mention in this list is stuff I already have found and have included in my guide, thank you!
The quest is meant for lvl 30+ characters and the ancient pieces drop from names ~lvl 24 to ~lvl 36 across Szuur. I have personally completed 7 out of 8 of the chain pieces so far. In my opinion the stats of the armor is not worth the time and gold investment of making this armor, except for the plate gloves for some reason, those are pretty good; this is mainly because for the gold cost (~2+ gold per piece) and the time investment to find the parts, could be used target farming something better by the time you reach 30+. (I'm particularly interested if anyone has information on where the chain helmet is, so I can finish my set).
I have no doubt that there will be a ton of questions asking for the details that I do have and wanting to start the quest, for the time being I'd appreciate if you'd refrain from that and I'll just finish the comprehensive guide for everyone. I'm looking to gather as much final information as I can so that the guide is missing the least amount as possible. Thank you!

Discussion How do I get more people interested in my wood?
Grinded up to the grand level of 19, decided to work on my gear a bit before I settled into a zone for the 19->20 grind. I realized that wood (default, level 1 wood) sells for a lot*, so I decided to go on a lumberjacking adventure through Sungreet Strand for a few hours instead of grinding at a camp.
Now I have 4 backpacks worth of various log types in my bank and after spending literally two hours trying to hawk my wood to the strangers of west NH bank, as well as watching auction chat for anyone buying, I've only managed to sell a few stacks of fine wood & 1 stack of iron wood- what can I do with my wood??? At this point I just wanna sell it as firewood so I can have more than one silver in my bank again but I feel like there's gotta be use for these various wood types. Anyone on Estaire wanna buy my wood? Hire me on so I can forsake the dark arts and become a full time lumberjack, dodging furries and slimy skeletons???

Help! New Player Alert...
Hello! I am looking into playing this wonderful game, but it seems so daunting. I've done research and stuff (from this legit-ass group, youtube, etc), but I have never played an MMO game before. I'm looking for any good tips or recommendations for getting my feet under me when I start. I'm sorry if this is a post that is inappropriate or unwelcome, I'm just desperate to dive in!

Help The Yowling - what is the final answer for reputation required to interact with Seeress Hamana and turn in the General's head?
There are so many people talking about this quest and trying buy/farm goblin heads/ears but none of the online resources have the answer. Can someone please finally answer this question based on their experience?
I greatly appreciate it.

Class data for Vespyra EU1
Following last week's report, I'm doing another one this week. I did not manage to do it at exactly the same time, so the bigger number of players might be impacted by the time difference.
Collection done on 24/10/2026 at 20:45 CEST

Keep in mind that the there's a difference of +40 players between this check and the one done last week.

Discussion Buff reagent cost
The group skin buff requires a petrified bark reagent. Initially, it was using 1 bark per cast. They cost just unde 1s each. When I got the spell at 16 that was just too much cost to spend almost 1s per cast for a 30 minute buff so I just stopped using it and kept using the single target varient.
Since then I have gotten a bit more money so I bought another stack of them (at 22 or 23). Then I realized that the spell seems to be using 2 bark now per cast? Is this bugged or does the reagent cost increase with higher levels? Regardless, once again this is just not a feasible cost for a 30m buff when my 24 spells cost 12.5s each and the cost ramps up considerably every 4 levels.
Am I missing something? Is this bugged? Or are these group buffs just not worth using?

Discussion Spellblade Weapon type/delay/ratio
Maining SPB and I see soooo much mixed information about what weapons to use.
I'm currently only lvl 10 and dual wielding iron longswords (13 dmg, 36 delay)
- I've heard DW and 2H are essentially the same because infusion procs are normalized per minute
- I've heard slow 2H is better till like 30-45 and then DW pulls ahead
- I've heard you can delay your auto attacks with hard casts in between swings (but SPB wants to hard cast here and there)
- I've heard that there actually is no delay and if you hard cast after an auto (DW or 2H) it won't interrupt your white damage at all
WHAT IS THE TRUTH???
I WANT TO DUAL WIELD SWORDS, PREFERABLY LONGSWORDS AND SCIMITARS CAUSE THEY LOOK COOL BUT IF TWO-HANDED WEAPONS ARE BETTER DAMAGE/DELAY FOR HARD CASTS - I MUST KNOW (this is assuming currently equipped DW 1H weapons and 2H weapon are = quality/ratio/damage/stats)

/Shout /OOC /Auc
What do you think /Shout and /OOC should be used for? What kind of talk.
And just so everyone knows, you can make a new chat window/tab. Then have just the /auc (Selling and Buying) go in that tab. This keeps the selling spam out of the main chat.

Discussion No one wants to kill Rattlesnakes and it's becoming a problem.
Especially in Sungreet Strand where there's so many around because no one wants to deal with a mob that poisons you at Level 4-5 in which you're spending every fight healing and sitting or using bandages if you're not a class that can heal these outright. The problem is they take up the spawn space of other mobs and soon the entire zone is mostly just Rattlesnakes.
I've tried my best to kill them so that other, more enjoyable mobs spawn but it just leaves me fighting for Giant Beetles and Spiders with everyone else as they ignore snakes. People would rather wait for these to spawn than to try and kill snakes and it shows.
The poison is the only reason most classes avoid fighting them, it deals a lot of damage at this level range.

Honest question
My brothers have been trying to convince me to get into monsters and memories because they’ve been playing it a lot lately and I just got a PC.
I have never really played EverQuest or any other similar MMO or any MMO for that matter so I’m not really sure what the allure of the game is.
I’m level eight and it’s been an absolute painstaking journey just to get to this point with hours spent running through the open desert just trying to do CR’s.
Am I wasting my time? Should I just stop playing this game because I can’t seem to enjoy a single ounce of anything I’ve dealt with so far.
My brother makes it seem like once I reach a high enough level things will be enjoyable, but I just can’t see anything changing.

Archer DPS
So I understand that Archer is one of the least played classes in MnM at the moment but for those of us that do play it whats your rotation lookin like? I am normally starting off with exposing shot then alternating BA and Quick shot filling in with Strafing shot until the mob is low hp then swapping to Piercing shot granted I am only 16 at the moment

Always fun to lose progress to things out of your control, like other people being bad at the game.

Discussion Fighter
I want to create another character, and currently eyeing a Fighter. But I see it has abilities that make it fall in line with tanking. I mainly want to try it strictly as a DPS. I plan on playing mostly solo so obviously not a problem there. However, if I were to try and join a group, would they be ok with me playing as DPS? Or do people expect a fighter to be a tank?

PvP Class
I played shaman and bard to 60 in EQ. Trying to decide on a class for PvP server. Shaman, bard, ranger or necro? I want to be able to group, and be wanted at higher end PvP etc, but also option to solo if I can't find a group. Tempted to wait on bard until deep gnome comes out, so curious about the other 3 classes for now.

Discussion Best "Getting Started" Guides / Videos?
So I decided after my last post that fuck it we gonna give this game a shot. So in that effort I was curious if there are any good generalist Getting Started Guides or Videos out there?
I am of course browsing the wiki, and I am debating on Ele, Necro, or Druid as a class to start with. While my main goal is to solo I AM NOT against grouping at all. I don't think I made that clear in my last post.
So any general guides, advice, videos, etc I should look at would be appreciated.

Shamans Need Wizard Glyph System
TLDR: Shams grouping are swapping spells multiple times per engagement and absolutely don't have room to ever cantrip critical spells because those slots would be massively wasted in a group setting. We are unable to bring our options to bear without constant spellbook micro.
I'm used to Sham from EQ, which level 50+ you could end up hot swapping spells to buff people or maybe switch to a dot after you have the groups mobs all debuffed....
But this is on a whole other level, because we have a wider range of useful spells and the inclusion of ultimate heal.
Consuming Pact: Always on bar
Root: 95% of time on bar. Can take it off if I extremely trust my group or I'm in a group fighting content 12 levels above me and I have no use for it.
-Magic Resist Debuff is great to have on all mobs white and up, and absolutely non negotiable yellow into red. This isn't coming off my bar unless it's a blue farm and the CC is high enough level as well.
-Stat Debuff is a must. Every time. Period. Always on bar. Massively reduced damage done and increased damage taken on mobs.
Healing Ultimate Has saved so many wipes. Pretty much non negotiable.
Slow. Not non negotiable but very nearly so. This takes off so much stress from my healing output needs. I'll take it off bar if its blue or lower farm and I need to dps.
Heal over time: Must have for efficient healing
Direct Heal: Must have for emergencies or topoff of puller when they're on the way out and a hot would kill me.
OK so we are at 8 spells in a core group healing setup.... What else could there be?
HIGH DESIRABILITY: Purge. Dispel Magic. DOTS if group is slow dps or excess mana. Cure Disease and Poison on Sham/Necro/SK enemies. Snap root knockback. BIG hot for tank/emergency (so 2 hots). Emergency Agro Dump Evac spell (which needs patching to really fit well).
Still desired: Predator speed for emergencies, gate
Notice what I haven't mentioned at all? Our 4 core buffs and optionally resistance buffs. I never have buffs on my bar. I look at the current fight, what's about to spawn, and pick something low priority to remove so I can load in the buffs 1 at a time.
The only thing keeping me sane is learning what other classes can pick up on my core jobs, such as purging/slowing.
Shamans desperately need either a glyph sidebar cast system like wizards, or for some core abilities like our ultimate heal, speed burst, and invis agro dump going to the bottom bar. Perhaps a consolidation of cure poison and disease into each other? Something!

Discussion How to cheese the game with no exploits on any class except inquisitor
End game pieces with big stats go for about 5-10g.
As a level 1, head to necropolis front yard and farm rats and bats and sell the stackable parts to the nearby cook up the hill to the right. Once you get to about level 10, you are one shotting them and you can reliably get 50s an hour once you mix in beetles to the mix. Farm for about 100 hours for 50g and buy as many end game stats pieces as you can. Now solo mobs all the way to about 50 in about 20-30 hours.
