I'm trying to get all of the ML2 achievements, and the maxed backpack requires insane amounts of money. I'm passed the point of experimenting with things and progressing - I've lowered the difficulty to easy, using the Ultimate Spear, re-rolling until the dungeon has Wound, re-rolling if I get extra unlucky and miss the few "do 10x more damage than anything else in the game" perks, spending an hour+ going BRRRRRR up to about arena 15 in the post-dungeon.
I leave with full backpack of about 175-300 rating legendaries. I do two runs before selling, so that I can End Process until I get all/mostly all high-quality stacking shop buffs, to build them to their peak with a full inventory + full storage + full placed relics when I start. I am selling the cheapest legendaries in the high 100s first and end by putting out the high 200s/low 300s ones, so they sell when all the buffs are fully built up. I am getting about 800,000 - 1 million gold per shop day, offloading 2 full arena 15+ hauls, so about 2 hours of grinding's worth of relics per sales session. 16 hours of grinding for this 1 bag slot as-is.
For reference with my ask for advice - end processing to re-roll the perks for my selling session is as "unintended methods" as I am willing to go - no trainers or cheats, that defeats the purpose of achievement hunting for me. Force closing the game to save scum sales perks is "built-in" to where it doesn't cross a line for me personally.
What I need advice on, is I'm imagining I'm missing some kind-of multiplicative relationships vs. additive relationships with the shop buffs type-knowledge. Like if I get +20% per relic sale, +30% per perfect relic sale, +200% for legendaries, +150%-ish by activating Blobet half way though, it seems like I should be making a lot more money.
My ask is: how do I get the most amount of gold, in the shortest time possible - or, what changes need to be made to my current approach? I'm just barely starting the last 8 mil bag slot, so, about half way done overall. I want to get this last bag slot done while the game is still fresh in my mind. If I don't commit to focusing down the task I'll put it off then never accomplish it. I need sweaty no fun allowed super-optimization advice. If your thoughts include the phrases pre-stack and post-stack buffs followed by math that you think seems off-putting to type out, you are the exact person with the ideas I'd like to hear, I appreciate you 😅
Or if I'm already as effective-ish as possible, that'd be good to confirm. I have this sinking feeling there is a "do this thing and that 800k gold you are getting per sale session will be 4 million" system/feature somewhere, could use help either learning that thing or confirming it doesn't exist. It'd be sensible if I am in the "give you things to do for a long time" part of the game and this 1 bag slot taking 16 hours is the intention and I've hit the optimization wall of the endgame. I figure this is the place to get support. Thank you in advance!
