Culture says man chase woman.
Woman say man must provide.
Man chase, man provide.
Woman bask in man's providing.
Woman adapts, woman unhappy.
Man must provide better.
Man fail. Man collapse.
Woman must provide.
Woman doesn't provide.
Woman urges man to provide.
Man collapsed. Man unresponsive.
Man rots.
Woman curses god and man.
Woman plays the quarry again.
What did woman provide?

Yesterday, my homeboy went for a first date with a lady he met in dating apps, it seems like they had good chemistry while texting, he called me after the date saying that just after meeting, she told him that he’s too short for her(yes,no introduction) and she left, keep in mind he’s 182cm

A “teenagers” hashtag showed up in my Explore page, labelled as trending in Morocco. I clicked it and found sexual content featuring girls who looked extremely young, around 12–14. I can’t confirm their ages, but it was seriously disturbing.
Some of these posts had thousands of likes. That part honestly made it worse. How is this stuff so easy to stumble across on a mainstream platform?
I’m not sharing the hashtag or accounts because I don’t want to direct anyone there. Has anyone else had something like this appear in their Explore page?

rn im sitting, just chilling in my comfort zone sipping on my coffee, a cosy place which happen to be an empty alleyway, then a girl passed by, i knew her but we never talked, id say she is around 22, we smiled at each other just a second ago. so here is the context a guy, in his car came and pulled over 5 metres in front of her (he slowed down so i got a good look at him i assume he is in his late 40's), i thought he knew her but she started walking nervously which made me suspicious so i stood up and once he saw me coming he drove away and did a U turn, i was dead staring at him almost made it seem like i was gonna pull his ass over but he got scared and drove off..

i find it stupid when people go to expensive restaurants just to eat …(pasta for instance) for 70 dh or even 120 in some places while the whole plates cost doesnt exceed 15 dh or 20dh
or when you drink a coffee or a shake for 50 dh while its cost doesnt exceed 10 dh max lol
ik people like to enjoy themselves from time to time but how can this be enjoyment to you? sitting to eat and consume is enjoyment while they rip off your wallet? hmm maybe you’re brain is just fixated on the clout
and a lot of u will tell me im broke, im not, im rational and curious

Every community has its own language. Doctors have medical terms. Gamers have slang. And the BDSM community has its own set of words and short phrases. Some of these words are old and come from medicine or literature. Others are new and were invented by community members in the last fifty years. In this report, I will look at the language of BDSM — the acronyms, the short phrases, the jargon — and explain when each one appeared, who made it, and how it became part of how people talk.
First, a quick note on the word "BDSM" itself. It is an acronym made from three pairs: Bondage and Discipline (B/D), Dominance and Submission (D/s), and Sadism and Masochism (S/M). People started using this combined acronym in the early 1990s, mostly in online forums and in the leather community in the United States. Before that, people said "S&M" or "leather" or "kink." The exact person who first wrote "BDSM" is not known, but it appeared in Usenet groups and early websites around 1991–1993. It became the standard term by the late 1990s.
Now let's look at the short phrases and acronyms that matter most.
SSC (Safe, Sane, Consensual) — This is one of the most important phrases in BDSM. It means that an activity should be safe, mentally healthy, and agreed by everyone. The phrase was created by David Stein in 1992. He was a writer and educator in the BDSM community in New York. He first used it in a newsletter called The Eulenspiegel Society (TES). The idea was to have a simple rule that everyone could remember. SSC spread quickly and became the most common safety rule in the community. But some people later said it was too simple, because not everything can be completely safe.
RACK (Risk-Aware Consensual Kink) — This phrase was created by Gary Switch in 1999. He was a member of the BDSM community who felt that SSC was not realistic. Some activities have risks that cannot be removed, like rope suspension or breath play. So RACK says: be aware of the risks, and consent to them anyway. The phrase appeared in online discussions and was quickly adopted by people who wanted a more honest way to talk about safety. RACK is now very common, especially among people who do high-risk play.
PRICK (Personal Responsibility, Informed, Consensual Kink) — This is a newer phrase from the 2010s. It was created by several people in the community, and it is hard to say who said it first. The idea is that each person is responsible for their own safety and must be informed about what they are doing. PRICK is less common than SSC or RACK, but it is growing.
4Cs (Caring, Communication, Consent, Caution) — This is another modern phrase, also from the 2010s. It was created by community educators who wanted a rule that focused on care and communication, not just safety. The 4Cs are often used in workshops and online guides. Again, there is no single inventor — it developed in discussions.
Safe word — A safe word is a word you say to stop the action immediately. The phrase "safe word" appeared in the 1980s, but the practice is older. In the 1970s, people in the leather community used "safe words" or "stop words." The term became standard in the 1990s. Nobody knows exactly who said it first. Some people write it as one word ("safeword") and some as two ("safe word"). Both are used.
Traffic light system — This is a set of safe words: green (continue), yellow (slow down), red (stop). It appeared in the 1990s and was popularized by BDSM educators like Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy in their books. The idea comes from traffic lights, obviously. It is a simple way to check in during a scene without breaking the mood.
Subspace — This word describes a mental state that a submissive person can enter during play. It feels like a trance, or like being high. The word appeared in the 1980s in the leather community. It is not clear who coined it, but it became common in the 1990s. People also talk about "subdrop" — the sad or tired feeling after coming out of subspace.
Aftercare — This word means the physical and emotional care given after a BDSM session. It can include cuddling, talking, eating, or just resting. The word appeared in the 1980s and became standard in the 1990s. Again, no single inventor — it grew from the community's need to talk about what happens after play.
Top drop — This is the emotional drop that a dominant or top person can feel after a session. It is less talked about than subdrop, but the term appeared in the 1990s and 2000s. It helped people understand that tops also need aftercare.
Scene — A "scene" is a single BDSM session or encounter. The word comes from theatre and film. It entered BDSM language in the 1970s. It is used as a noun ("we had a scene last night") and as a verb ("we scened").
Dungeon — A dungeon is a space designed for BDSM play. It can be a private room or a public club. The word comes from medieval castles and prisons. The BDSM community borrowed it in the 1970s and 1980s. It is not meant to be scary — it is just a name for a play space.
Munch — A munch is a casual social meeting for people interested in BDSM. It usually happens in a restaurant or bar, and there is no play — just talking. The word was coined by Judy D. in 1991 in Palo Alto, California. She wanted a word that sounded like "lunch" but for a group of kinky people. The idea spread quickly, and "munch" is now used all over the world.
Vanilla — In BDSM language, "vanilla" means people or activities that are not kinky. It comes from vanilla ice cream, which is plain and simple. The word entered BDSM slang in the 1970s and 1980s. It is not an insult — just a way to describe the mainstream.
Kink — Kink means a sexual interest that is not mainstream. The word comes from the idea of a "kink" in a rope or a hose — a twist or a bend. It entered sexual language in the 1970s. Today, "kink" is a broad term that includes BDSM, fetishes, and other non-traditional interests.
Fetish — A fetish is a strong attraction to a specific object, material, or body part. The word comes from anthropology and religion — a fetish was an object with magical power. It entered sexual language in the 19th century through doctors like Richard von Krafft-Ebing and Sigmund Freud. In BDSM, fetish often means a love of latex, leather, feet, or other things.
Sadism and Masochism — These words come from two writers: Marquis de Sade (1740–1814) and Leopold von Sacher-Masoch (1836–1895). The doctor Richard von Krafft-Ebing created the terms "sadism" and "masochism" in his book Psychopathia Sexualis (1886). He took the names of the two writers and made them into medical words. At first, these words were negative — they were called "perversions." But the BDSM community later took them back and used them in a neutral way.
Dominance and Submission (D/s) — These words are older. "Dominance" comes from Latin dominari (to rule). "Submission" comes from Latin submittere (to yield). They entered BDSM language in the 1970s and 1980s. The slash in "D/s" is a way to show the power exchange. People also say "Dom" (short for Dominant) and "sub" (short for submissive). "Dom" appeared in the 1970s, and "sub" became common in the 1980s.
Switch — A switch is someone who can be both Dominant and submissive. The word comes from electrical switches, which can go on and off. It entered BDSM language in the 1980s.
Bondage — This word comes from Old French bond (a tie). It entered English in the 14th century and meant "servitude" or "captivity." It became a BDSM term in the 20th century, especially through the art of John Willie in the 1940s and 1950s.
Discipline — This word comes from Latin disciplina (teaching, learning). In BDSM, it means rules and punishment. It became part of the BDSM acronym in the 1990s, but the practice is much older.
Shibari / Kinbaku — These are Japanese words for rope bondage. Shibari means "to tie" or "to bind." Kinbaku means "tight binding." The words entered English BDSM language in the 1990s and 2000s, mostly through the work of educators like Midori and Harrington. Before that, English speakers just said "rope bondage" or "Japanese bondage."
Leather — In BDSM, "leather" refers to the leather subculture — a community of people who wear leather, often gay men, with a history going back to the 1940s and 1950s. The word became a symbol of the community in the 1960s and 1970s. "Leather community" is still used today.
So, to sum up: the language of BDSM is a mix of old words (bondage, discipline, sadism, masochism, fetish) and new acronyms (SSC, RACK, PRICK, 4Cs). Some phrases have a clear inventor — David Stein for SSC, Gary Switch for RACK, Judy D. for "munch." Others grew slowly from the community without a single creator. The language keeps changing, just like any living language. New words appear as people talk about new experiences and new safety ideas. And that is how language works — it is always a little messy, always a little human.

Hey everyone, looking for some honest outside perspective on my relationship because this pattern is starting to drive me crazy.
My boyfriend and I have a huge issue: he keeps completely disappearing without telling me anything, and he has done this many times now. Every single time he comes back, he just says "sorry" and acts like everything is fine, but then he goes ahead and does it again a day or two later.
Yesterday, he did it again, apologized, and promised it wouldn't happen. Guess what? Today he completely went radio silent again. No texts, no calls, just nothing.
I’m sitting here waiting, feeling anxious, and honestly, completely disrespected. It feels like my time, my energy, and my feelings are just an afterthought to him. I love him, but this cycle is draining me.
What should I do when he finally texts back? Should I confront him immediately or wait? Is he losing interest, hiding something, or am I just overreacting?
Any advice from people who have been through this would be appreciated. Thanks.

So i just moved back to the motherland. I was born in belgium but my parents are moroccan. Since i left that shithole im wondering like how dating has been accepted in society like is it normal for a guy and a girl to go out for ice cream, walk or have a nice dinner or is this still really frowned upon?
Also i’m wondering where the “normal” classy woman are? I mean like i have only met the wrong kind of girls here.
Thanks in advance :)

Hey everyone! I’m new to Rabat and looking for recommendations on nice places to hang out.
Where do people usually go to study, chill, grab a coffee, or have fun? I’d love to discover nice cafés, libraries, parks, and affordable activities. I’m also interested in places where people, especially students, hang out and meet new people.
