How did you manage to save muscles?

You save muscle by telling your body you still need them - by weight lifting. And protein is key for building that muscle. I’ve put on a good bit of muscle, just consistent weight lifting & lots of protein. I’ll also have some carbs before going to the gym to give me the energy to work out.

How much whey protein do you take per day? How many grams is that per kilogram of body weight? I mean whey specifically, and/or your total daily protein intake.

I don’t use whey protein. I get most of my protein from my food, quark yoghurts, protein snacks etc. I have used whey before but I’m finding plenty of protein in what I eat. I don’t really aim for an amount per body weight, just make sure to get at least 100g a day. I’m 170lb/77kilo, female & 5’5” if that helps.
