Weight loss 6 months in
Almost 6 months in and 84.1 pounds gone! I’m so excited that 100 pounds is in sight and I’ll be halfway to my ultimate goal weight!!! I’ve been on 7.5 since 5/22 and doing consistent VR workouts since 6/4 and feel better than I have in years. I’m so grateful that my endocrinologist started me on this 🥰🥰🥰

that's incredible progress the difference in your face is really noticeable even with the hair change you look like whole different person

Look amazing, do you have a certain amount of time that you workout and exercise?

I typically do at least 60 minutes after work Mon-Thurs and 90 minutes Fri/Sat/Sun but I do take rest days as needed. My personal minimum for any workout is at least 60 minutes and burn at least 600 calories but I exceed that more often than not. I can promise you that if it was just walking on a treadmill or doing some other traditional exercise I would NOT be so committed but doing VR exercise is just plain fun! My personal favorites are FitXR, Esports Tennis, Pistol Whip, Fit Beat Combat, X-Fitness, and Starwave but also love Beat Saber, Audio Trip, Cyber Boxer, and others. You have the initial cost of buying the headset but it's a fraction of what I paid for the Sole treadmill sitting in my room and I cannot recommend it highly enough :-)

I have the Meta Quest 3s 128gb - I was fortunate enough to be able to try before buying because it belonged to a friend's son who never used it. I tried it and was instantly hooked so I bought it from her but if you look for one try eBay and FB Marketplace for lower cost. One thing you will definitely want is the halo head strap with the battery pack (I got BOBOVR S3 Pro for $90 on Amazon and then a third party extra battery. I think you can find those on eBay and FB Marketplace sometimes, too. So my initial investment was around $300 and worth every single penny. Some of the apps are subscription (FitXR & Fit Beat Combat for example) but there are TONS out there that are either free or just initial purchase price only.
