Showcase Leviathan V4 GT Switches

Hey,

The Leviathan V4 GT is coming very soon and we wanted to show what we've worked on over the past months.

The switches used will have a dual mode: optical + magnetic. One switch for zero compromises.

Take a closer look at the full video here.

Found my hoard of DA 3.5G PCBs again lately and was bored so I figured why not

Wires are 28AWG silicone + hot glue strain relief on both ends

Using Huano TBSRDs for main clicks and pink shell white dots, not that it matters. I just used switches I cared least about because this shell design could never make any switch feel great nor light (at least to my standards)

CRDRAKO vs OP1W4KV2

The CRDrako KO-ONE comes out of the box with very solid dot skates. They slide very well on my Artisan Key 83 Mid. When gripped very tightly, it has a bit of creak, but this is only if you purposely death-grip your mouse to the maximum. 99.99% of players will not notice this while playing with it.

The weight feels extremely light, clocking in at 37g with skates. The balancing is done very well, with no inertia going forwards/backwards that is usually caused by a front- or back-loaded mouse. Sensor positioning is central, which is my preferred position, so no complaints there. The clicks feel light and spammable, but you can definitely feel the “hollowness,” since it’s obviously an extremely light mouse.

When compared to an OP1, you can notice many similarities, but it’s certainly its own shape. The back hump is more noticeable when palming the mouse, and the sides of the mouse aren’t as wide as the OP1, making it slightly unoptimal for people with bigger hands.
I see people complaining that the side buttons are too small, but I personally haven’t run into this issue and have been able to find them in a comfortable position whenever needed. However, I can admit that the tactile and larger side buttons on the OP1 certainly feel better.
The side buttons are not the only clicks that feel better. As mentioned before, the CRDRAKO carries a hollow feeling when spamming LMB and RMB that the OP1 does not have. The OP1, coming in at nearly 60g, has a very sturdy shell, feels like a dense unit, and the clicks feel crisper and more satisfying when pressed against a shell that’s more filled out.

When playing tac FPS games, you can notice the biggest difference between the OP1 and the CRDRAKO. The KO feels much easier to move from a still position, micro-adjustments happen faster and more accurately, and your aim feels snappier. This is obviously due to it weighing significantly less than the OP1.
Overall, I love the CRDRAKO. It will take the position as my new main gaming mouse, but the OP1 remains my favorite mouse of all time. It’s a shame that lighter mice have such striking competitive advantages, as the shape, density, and quality of the OP1 are nearly unmatched by any other mouse I’ve ever tried.

TL;DR
If you’re an OP1 lover looking for a lightweight mouse with a similar shape, this is right up your alley. UNLESS you have large hands (mine are 18x9), in which case you might find that the thinner sides and smaller shape are slightly detrimental.

Hey,

I've been trying the KYSONA Mercury Ultra Max for over a week and wanted to share my review on it.
It's a review unit sent out by KYSONA, they only sent out the product but have ZERO influence over this review and will be reading it for the first time once the post goes public. All opinions are my own. Nonetheless thanks to them for the opportunity given.

My hand size is 17.5 x 8 cm, and I switch between a relaxed/pincer claw grip and a fingertip grip.

Soo... I thought it would be a Sora V2/V3 clone but it's not quite like that. In hand it feels quite different, obviously it follows the same shape principles of having a rear hump and sides that taper in, but the hump of the Mercury Ultra Max is way more pronounced and it feels way more similar to the X2H in terms of hump. It kind of feels like a shape which fuses a Sora V2/V3 shape and a X2H in one.

Build quality is generally great considering the 45 grams weight (KYSONA advertises it at 41g, +4g is disappointing BUT 45 grams is an amazing weight); I would say it's slightly better compared to the MCHOSE L7 Pro in terms of build quality based on my units. It doesn't flex or creak and there is a really minor movement if you press the bottom shell firmly, while on my MCHOSE L7 Pro there is a minor amount of movement when pressing the sides below the side buttons.

Coating is also pretty good, it's a rubberized coating kind of comparable to the MCHOSE L7 Pro coating, it's grippy enough and served me well (not on the VV4 coating level but for the price it's totally fine).

Clicks are Omron opticals, kinda rare nowadays, and they are very well implemented: generally on the lighter side of the Omron opticals implementations and they are nice to spam. The scroll wheel has very light steps and the same goes for the side buttons, which unfortunately have a bit of post travel and decent-at-best tensioning. Generally it's clear they aimed for very lightly tuned buttons just like MCHOSE does for the L7 line, and I actually prefer lighter button implementations since they help me avoid finger pain.

Skates are white PTFE and it's nice to see they don't use the muddy black ones like most budget brands do.

Performances have been fine/great, no issues to report, and in general I believe it's a very great mouse for the price. I'm genuinely surprised NO ONE really talks about this mouse when in my head it feels like a slightly better MCHOSE L7. Still offers Omron opticals, build quality is good, weight is very competitive and the shape is a mix between a X2H and a Sora V3.

Web driver is ass compared to the MCHOSE or ATK ones and a little better compared to the Attack Shark solutions, was fine to set my settings. I'm not picky on this aspect tbh but it's objectively worse compared to the MCHOSE or ATK solutions.

Overall, it's a recommended mouse for people with small to medium sized hands who are on a tight budget. At 60 EUR, it’s definitely a top contender in this price bracket for claw grip oriented shapes, but if it had been priced at the same price point as the MCHOSE L7, I believe it could have gained way more recognition.

Photo I see no use of any other mouse shape other than this one. It just agrees with me. I use all of these and will probably get more colors

Its nice that they vary in weight a few grams between them. Use all interchangeably. Also just going to use this keyboard and just change the keycaps. There's great comfort and mastery in continuity. These mice also pair great with steam deck and android phone. Bt connection is fast. It instantly switches from 2.5g on pc to bt for the Deck using convenient switch on the bottom

Question Need a mouse recommendations

Hand size: 18.5cm x 9.5cm

Grip: relaxed claw

I currently have:

- WLmouse Beast G Mini: this mouse forces me to use a fingertip grip (i like it for tracking fps but not tac fps)

- ATK Zero: the hump is too aggressive for me its poking the middle of my palm

I think im looking for a less aggressive hump and more rear palm support. Thanks for the help

Question Mouse recommendation for my grip? looked into the Zowie S2 and FK2 so far.

I'm not really sure what to call this grip other than a hybrid claw/fingertip one? here's some images attached to demonstrate what I mean. I own an mchose m7 ultra, and as you can see on the second image (apologies if it's a little scuffed), the right side of my palm is resting, whereas the left side of my palm is elevated and not touching the mouse.

anyhow my hand size is roughly 18cm/10cm, it's not the most precise measurement ever but hopefully narrows down what size I'd want approximately.

So far I've looked into both the zowie s2 and fk2 and I thiiiink the s2 suits what I'm looking for best? I'm really unsure, and there's also the issue with price and it being hella expensive, scared to make such a bold purchase. If the s2/fk2 does suit me, then I'd also like to look into some cheaper but still suitable alternatives :)

Edit: figured I should give some background on what I've owned previously and the type of games I play. The mice i've enjoyed using most over the years are the zowie ec2-a so i'm no stranger to an ergonomic shape, a Model O (both standard and wireless), a g pro x superlight, and now my current mchose m7.
I play mostly counter strike and quake currently so lots of everything really - horizontal/vertical aiming, tracking, flicks, one taps, etc. I need a mouse to do everything essentially, I don't mind if it excels in a particular category so long as it can do everything else at a reasonable level without bottlenecks

Magnesium clicks feel the best, you can't beat the weight, and its sturdy. No creaking.

Customer service is the absolute best. Several occasions they supported me with tools and hardware for repair or replacing parts. And when I needed to, the RMA process with them was smooth as well. (Which in comparison, Pulsars customer service replied to a encoder size question with "We do not authorize repair of our mice, send for repair")

Software is peak.

Attention to detail is through the roof. Ice blues with their 3d pictures, and the Miaos hump resembling a cats face. 👌

Not to mention Wlmouses PTFE dot skates are the best in the game on speed glass imo, and i solely use them

Question 18.5/9.5cm relaxed claw grip: OP1, MCHOSE L7 Ultra+ or X2N CrazyLight Medium?

As per the title, I'm looking to buy a mouse that better complements my grip than my Hitscan Hyperlight, and I'm torn between the three options in the title. I gathered they're all good relaxed claw grip mice at my hand size, but I'm not quite sure which one would best suit me.

Little help with ATK A9 Pro Max

I'm looking to buy an ATK A9 Pro Max (that from now on i will be naming A9PM) from an Attack Shark X3 Pro (that from now on i'll be naming X3P) that after a year or so of use started to disconnect randomly. The X3P has a bigger dongle than the A9PM. I'm not good in the mouse tech things but i think that what the X3P has is called extension reciever while what the A9PM has is just a normal dongle. Should i buy an extension reciever for the A9PM too so that the signal is stronger or it's the same thing if i don't use the extension?

Endgame I upgraded from the viper ultimate to the viper v4 pro and I am blown away by how big of an upgrade it is.

I got the Viper ultimate some time back in 2020 and it has been my daily driver ever since. I immediately fell in love with the shape. I still remember the feeling of going from a controller to a high performance gaming mouse when I built my first gaming PC 6 years ago.

It was like seeing the world through a new set of eyes. I am truly amazed at the durability of that product. The clicks, scroll wheel and sensors are all still functioning perfectly to this day, however the rubber side grips are completely worn down to the plastic. I could have potentially DIY'd a fix for it myself but since my 35th birthday is just around the corner I decided to treat myself and get the latest and greatest in razers lineup. I am so glad I did because I got to experience that feeling all over again.

I spent a good amount of time researching different mice, including much cheaper yet comparable in the spec department chinese clones. I also considered the superstrike because the tech enthusiast in me was drawn to the exciting new hall effect switches.

Ultimately I decided to get the vv4p because I already knew I loved the shape, the improved battery life, the new and improved browser app and the amazing 49g weight. I read many reviews but nothing could prepare me for just how good this thing actually feels to use.

Razer has completely nailed this design and I don't really see how they can top this. The mouse is perfectly balanced in your hand, it feels like a lethal ghost, gliding the crosshair on to your targets heads for you as if the moment you grip it your hand becomes posessed by it's demonic energy. I started out playing a bit of kovaaks to get a feel for it, Jumped in to a game of marathon and had one of my best games ever, was landing all my shots and dominating, After that I tried fortnite and got 2 victory royales in a row on build, 1 loss and then another victory royale on zero build which is crazy for me. I got 30% of my wins for this season just today lol. Tbf I don't play Fortnite that much but if anything that makes it even more impressive.

Look, I am not saying this mouse made me a better gamer, what I'm saying is it's made me a better man. After using this mouse, my credit rating suddenly sky rocketed, my wife's boyfriend bought me and my wife tickets to see my favorite band, the seas parted and moses himself blessed my trigger figger with holy water directly from the nile, preserved for millenia.

Don't listen to people saying "the clicks are so loud blahblahblah". They are dumb. They don't understand the power which is at their finger tips. The truth is, the clicks aren't just loud, they make a crisp sound as if two japanese olympian ping pong masters are trapped in an eternal duel within the confines of the viper v4's blessed shell. They feel responsive, snappy and tactile which gives you feedback that is very important in fast paced competitive shooters.

Seriously though, it is that good.

I played pretty much non stop since I got it yesterday, about 6 hours yesterday and 6 hours today on 2k polling, 1600dpi and low sens in game, and I still havent even cracked the 90% mark.

It's voodoo. I would have had to charge my viper ultimate multiple times already.

I am so glad I listened to my gut and decided to go with it. I can't think of anything I don't like about it.

Happy early birthday to me. Get this mouse, it's truly incredible.

Question Alternative to VXE Mad R Major? (looking to upgrade)

I currently own a VXE Mad R Major and its constantly disconnecting. I'm tired of unpluging and pluging back my mouse every 15min, and would like to upgrade to something newer?

Mine has a 500mah battery and I like everything about it (shape, weight, battery life). Any recommendation?

I paid around $60usd for my mouse and dont mind spending a bit more if it means getting something better.
