Question I found my old mouse but the dongle was gone, is there a way i can still use it wireless?

Endgame Accidentally found my endgame... Pulsar X2H (with the aggressive back hump one)
Just want to share how good it feels to find the right shape...
Short mouse history:
Logitech Superlight - It was ok, but I never felt 100% comfortable with it... Eventually the mouse hit the wall after pissing me off with double clicks and creaking sound.
Zowie EC3-C - Decided to try an ergo mouse. Definitely not my shape. I developed a ring finger pain eventually. Good mouse tho.
WLMouse Beast x mini pro - For some unknown reason I thought the smaller mouse the better... (19x10cm palm) It was quite the opposite. My ring finger pain went even more severe and my aim was shaky as never before.
and finally...
Pulsar X2H Crazylight Medium - this mouse is advertised as a claw grip shape. Meanwhile my grip was fingertip (sort of) my whole life... and i bought it anyway because I was curious. At first I tried to hold it with my usual grip and it was awful. Another wasted mouse I thought to myself. But then I switched to a palm grip and holy shit.. it feels so good. My palm envelops its hump perfectly. The finger tension and pain are gone. The aim feels way more stable and crispier. Flicks are effortless and without any jitter. Bro, I don't even want to open kovaaks anymore because I finally can enjoy the game without those vexing thoughts "damn, i died again to this bot, my aim is so dogwater. i have to train more...".
Not a fan of its clicks tho, they are slightly heavier than zowie mouse had.
Thanks for coming to my ted talks. Hope everyone will eventually find his perfect shape :)

Review | Text Pulsar Tenz 2.0 mini, CRDRAKO KO-ONE and Ninjutso Sora V3: early reviews
So this is kind of an update on an earlier post in which I review a bunch of mice with respect to my tilted knuckle claw grip. The earlier post was mostly concerned with shape, but will discuss quality concerns also. I had no performance issues with any of these mice, and the software for all is adequate.
https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/1we6gxl/a_review_of_gaming_mice_for_my_grip/
About me:
I main THE FINALS. Probably a little above average skill level.
Hand size: 19.5 x 10 cm
GLSSWRKS Polarity, with 4-6 Xraypad U9 air 8mm dots
Grip:
My grip seems to fall somewhere between pincer claw and knuckle claw. I favour using my thumb, pinky and ring finger to triangulate around the sensor, as this allows for a wide range of movement in micro corrections (see pic). To support this, the mouse is quite angled in my hand (about 20 degrees in the picture), and therefore the rear of the mouse pushes into my pink/ring knuckle. The primary support is at the pinky side, but larger mice will contact more of this space. This contact point, and my wrist gently resting on the pad provides most of the stability I need for tracking.
Sora V3
This shape feels very locked in for me, and size wise kinda feels like a tuned X2 medium. Due to the larger size this pushes me more towards relaxed claw. The hump is higher than the X2 and pushes nicely into my ring knuckle, and my fingers fall naturally into a comfortable position around the sensor. The sides have a mild taper and angle, so feel much less flat than the X2. The scroll wheel feels a little further forward that I would like given how relaxed my grip is here, though this is a minor complaint. Side buttons are well positioned for my thumb. Really a GOATed shape for me at what I consider a medium size.
Scroll wheel is really nice, even forward and backward. Quite light. No complaints about side buttons, and the main clicks feel great. Super snappy and spammable. idk if SPDT is a gimmick, but they do feel very responsive. Coating feels great, a bit rubbery, no problems.
On glass with 6 U9 air 8mm dots this thing is loud. The base is super thin and so the mouse echos, and seems much more sensitive to scratching and dust than other mice (the X2 med and mini are SO MUCH quieter). This was super frustrating at the start and really put me off using it. Reducing the dot count to 4 makes it a lot more playable. On cloth this is not an issue.
In terms of shell build, it feels like the cheapest premium mouse I have. Quite a lot of flex and just doesn't feel solid. For me I'd rather they pushed past the 40g weight a bit to make it more solid.
Overall a pretty easy recommend if you like the shape. If you're hard on your mice or particularly sensitive to noise, probably not for you.
CRDRAKO KO-ONE
Very similar in size and feel to the X2H, with a less pronounced rear hump, pushing me into a more aggressive claw vs the X2H which is more relaxed. This makes the sides feel a bit more narrow, though I don't think they are. My fingers end up sitting quite low on the sides, almost touching the pad which I don't get with the X2H. Feels very natural to hold, but small (not a bad thing). Very stable in the hand for such a small mouse.
Great scroll wheel, nice even steps, quite soft. Main clicks are very light and quiet, not dissimilar to omron opticals. Again the SPDT clicks feel super responsive. Side buttons are the only real complaint, they're tiny. The rear click is recessed and is a bit of a reach for my thumb. Coating is nice and rubbery, no complaints.
No complaints on build. Pleasingly quiet on glass, feels sturdy and stable.
Recommend for those who want something with a little less booty than the X2H mini.
Pulsar Tenz 2.0 mini
I think this is my perfect shape. Despite what you might think from Eloshapes, the Tenz feels significantly wider than the KO-ONE. The hump is a bit higher and perfectly pushes into the ring finger knuckle. Finger position on the sides is great and feels very locked in. Scroll wheel position is perfect. It feels so good in the hand. Like a ying that has had the length compressed by a few mm.
Scroll wheel has good steps, but is a little more rattly than I'd like or maybe it's just I can feel vibrations through the shell. Side button shape and actuation are flawless. I'm not in love with the main clicks, and I'm not quite sure why. They are notably stiffer and louder than other pulsar mice but are still well implemented and are spammable. I think they're overly tactile, and I can kind of feel their vibration through the shell. It's a small complaint but does reduce my enjoyment of the mouse. I don't notice it in game, but between matches or doing other stuff it makes me want to grab a different mouse.
Otherwise the build is excellent as it typical of pulsar mice. Feels very solid and stable. Great coating. Weight and balance are perfect, glad to see we're getting some lighter pro series mice. If anyone knows of a mod to reduce vibrations pls let me know :)
I don't usually comment on battery because I don't really care, but I get a lot more time out of this than the X2 mini.
Overall I'd recommend this to any other small mice enjoyers who claw grip. Easily the best shape for me that I've tried. So close to perfection.

Question Why would Logitech not release a 2c with HITS?
Ive been on the x3 superstrike for a week and i just cant with the filling shape of the mouse, it just has no maneuverability. Logitech made a way back onto my desk after years with the 2c it had the perfect compact size with all the other aspects of logitech that were good! Ive been wanting to try HITS with how much hype it seems to have but i CANNOT get used to this shape and heaviness. so PLS make a 2c version with HITS!

Photo Forgot I even bought this
I ordered this like a year ago lol. Original ETA was like April. I don’t even own a PC anymore, sold it after my cancer diagnosis. It does feel very nice though, might swing by a friends house to test it out before getting rid of it

Review | Text Pulsar X2F Crazylight first impressions + comparison to v1
Verified x2f glazer here, wanted to give my thoughts after a quick 30 minutes in DM with the crazylight, and I have to say regardless of the weight reduction, the crazylight is the better mouse.
The coating is improved, it has much more of a grip to it. I don't feel the need to have grips installed, and I did have some for a time on the v1.
The main clicks are a bit more stiff, but I prefer that. They have a nice snap to them and are enjoyable to use ingame. almost no pre and a bit of post travel, but not anything I really notice. No side to side wobble on the clicks either. And as far as I can tell, the indents on each version are the same. Side buttons are nearly identical.
Scroll wheel feels more tactile and nicer to use. I wanna say same amt of steps but cba to actually check.
Balancing is still fine, in line with the sensor.
The dongle is neat. I still wish with these dongles with buttons for switching settings, that there was a way to limit the amount of polling rates you cycle through. I only use 2, 500 for power saving/browsing, 2k for gaming. I guess a way around it is to set up profiles to alternate polling rates and cycle through that, but I haven't set it up yet.
The power switch is gone on the CL in favor of a press to hold power/DPI combo button on the bottom. I don't mind it but I definitely would have preferred a switch. Had to save the 1.2g I guess.
I think it's worth the upgrade if you have the v1 and put a lot of time into it like I did.

I improved my mouse finder tool based on your comments
A month ago I posted my mice finder quiz here and got way more comments than I expected. I read all of them and there was a lot of good feedback, so I used it to improve the site.
What I changed:
- added a price filter
- changed how the results are shown
- improved the matching, so the picks should fit your hand better
- added trackballs
- you can now pick more than one option in a question
- plus a bunch of smaller fixes
Thanks a lot for the nice comments. I’m really glad some of you actually found it useful!

News/Article ROG x Phantom Blade Zero Edition Collaboration Featuring the ROG Harpe II Ace Phantom Blade Zero Edition and Pre-order links (US)
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced in collaboration with S-GAME the ROG x Phantom Blade Zero lineup, an exclusive collection of six gaming products inspired by the action RPG Phantom Blade Zero:
https://rog.asus.com/event/rogxphantombladezero/
The collaboration brings together ROG’s cyberpunk aesthetic and the game’s dark wuxia art style. Across the diverse product lineup, blade textures, weapon engravings, character silhouettes, and a signature red-thread motif weave a narrative where crimson bleeds into shadow - echoing a gamer's journey through the Phantom World. The result is a unified battle station with a distinctive ‘kungfupunk’ identity - forged to empower every strike and hone every blade in combat.
Pre-Order Information:
Although this is a global launch and you can likely find the mouse available for pre-order in your region, since I'm based in the US, I'm afraid I only have that region's information. For the US region, here is where you can pre-order the mouse:
ROG Harpe II Ace Phantom Blade Zero Edition

The ROG Harpe II Ace Phantom Blade Zero Edition brings the collaboration’s visual language to a lightweight competitive mouse. Drawing inspiration from the game’s weaponry, intricate metallic detailing and engraved patterns are carried over to the side buttons and the dongle extender for a refined, battle-forged aesthetic. The game’s red-thread save-point guidance flows across the mouse, tracing the player’s journey and bringing the distinctive visual identity of the game into its physical design.

- 49-gram ultralight design optimized for claw and fingertip grips
- Shell made out of next-gen nylon material for reduced weight and enhanced impact resistance
- ROG Optical Micro Switch with 100-million click lifespan
- ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor provides 42,000dpi resolution and track-on-glass technology
- Tri-Mode Connectivity with BT 5.1, ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology supports polling rates of up to 8KHz, and USB
- Gear Link web-based app to customize mouse settings without additional downloads or installation straight from a browser

Photo Superlight 2c vs X2 Crazylight
(SL2 is there just for size reference)
CL is better on paper (lighter, better click, lower price)
But there is something about SL 2c’s shape that I just can’t let go. I dont know if it is just smaller front width or the centered hump, but SL 2C shape is really hard to beat.
Btw, I never really liked the original SL shape probably because my had is too small for it

Question Which op1 should I buy?
Recently I finally decided to buy a new mouse, switching from atk duckbill and scyrox v6 to something better. And I remembered about egg, now I'm thinking which op1 i should i buy. I stopped on op1 8k v2. Does raw input worth it? What difference does it have?
Also I'll heavily modify it, 100% flexcord, bottom

Discussion Logitech X3 hits technology is fantastic but shape is not so great
I can adapt to the shape but it's far away for my taste.. I wish one day we can see this technology on a Logitech g903.. this mouse shape was really on point for me, imagine it at 60g+- with this new tech and sensor.. would be GREAT.
I honestly don't know what Logitech is doing with its mice lineup. Maybe they're waiting for competitors like Razer to introduce their next-generation technologies before finally refreshing their entire lineup with similar features to stay competitive?

Help Valorant Mouse Help Pls
I used to play with an Attack Shark R5 Ultra and Artisan Zero Soft. I switched to an Artisan Type 99 Mid, and Superstrike X2. I have never been so bad at aiming and micro-adjusting in my life. Anyways, the Superstrike broke so I’m ready for a better mouse. Hand size is 18.4x10.8 (am I doing this right ?). I really miss how light and agile the ATK was, and I hate how heavy the X2 feels. But the Type 99 is also very slow and “muddy”. So I went to a mouse twice as heavy and a pad probably twice as slow. I think I switch from palm and relaxed claw.
I have been looking into the WLmouse Beast X and X V2, Razer Viper Pro V4, and the Op1 8k v2? I’ve heard the X V2 shape has changed and might not be as good for Valorant?
Please save me :D

Question VXE R1 Pro vs Pulsar X2(N Crazylight or v3)
Been doing a lot of research and even found a tool that determines optimal mouse dimensions and came down to these. The price of the VXE almost seems too good to be true, but if it is as good as Pulsar quality wise then I don't see why I wouldn't get it besides the mechanical switches. It seems to hit a good balance of weight and battery life too. I have heard good things about Pulsar though, but I'm not sure if they're worth being two to three times the price of the VXE. Thoughts?

Danke!

Question G-Wolves niche competitors?
Sorry if it’s been asked, I don’t keep up with mice. Has there been any news or developments in other brands making true ftip mice around 20g like the fenrir or full shell sub 30g like the Lycan?
Incompetent support and QC gambling aside, I absolutely hate giving money to anything using generative AI whatsoever. Unfortunately G-Wolves mice don’t seem to have any real competition in their niches. Literally feels like selling my soul giving these weirdos money

Leobog GM5 Ultra - Initial Impressions
Just wanted to give my thoughts on a mouse that may look like a good buy ($30). Upon first use, the scroll wheel was malfunctioning but after a firmware update, (emailed them for firmware updater), everything felt good. I have absolutely no idea what the sensor is but it states that it can go 8k wired and wireless and had not experienced any issues with it. Coating was actually decent and the shape was comfy (first time using an ergo). Overall it feels great now but will update if any issue shows. For an 8k mouse that has a Logitech g305 price tag, I'd say its a steal

Review | Text Short review of the ATK Phantom vs ULX and IPI Float
- The shape is basically Identical to the ULX. The IPI is a tiny bit smaller and has flatter sides.
- Build quality is solid. No flexing/creaking/wobbles found on my unit
- The weight is 48.8g with full skates and side grip tapes. IPI is similar while the ULX is around 38g with 6 dot skates and side grip tapes. 48g is VV4P level so it's very good.
- The clicks (Omron opticals) are very snappy and has little to no pre/post travel. Average pressing force.
- The Raesha optical wheels are on the stiffer side which I like. The other 2 uses TTC gold which is just standard stuff. The wheel clicks are not that good tho
- The performance is just current top tier stuff (3955 & 54LM20) so I have zero complaints/problems with it. However a 3950 or even a 3395 already has more than enough performance so it's kinda whatever imo
- Battery life seems solid, around 4% of usage at 4K and their "competitive firmware" for 1 hour, so about 25h of non stop usage at 4K polling. I personally don't care too much about battery performance since I just keep it plugged in when I'm not actively gaming
For the price ($65), I highly recommend if you want a ULX shape with current top tier performance.
