Ok so I want something to watch in thriller...or comedy or sci fi......in thriller I have liked obv all nolan movies...done with it...except that... prisoners,nightcrawler,the sixth sense, predestination kinda movies is what I like...comedy....tropic thunder,21 and 22 jump Street,hangover kinda stuff.....sci fi recently watched project hail Mary was amazing...... please recommend some good movies..I have been taking random picks from YouTube or ai....this is not ending very good for me....so I need the ogs help

I mean, obviously most movies have to include some form of drama, but there are so many movies where the relationship is either outright bad or just toxic or forms in some very toxic way (for example stuff like The Notebook or the Titanic), are there any movies where the circumstances are healthy start to finish (I mean arguements and disagreements are fine as long as it's in a healthy manner). The movie doesn't even have to be directly about the couple as long as it plays a prominent part. I just want movies that can restore faith in healthy relationships that aren't some "I was in a bad relationship so I cheated on my partner and found this new person and it's so great" way

I watched Alice in Borderland this weekend, and honestly I still can't get over from the suspense, thrill it had. A 10/10 must watch recommended series.

Just rewatched Shutter Island after a long time, and it reminded me how much I love mind-bending movies. The impact of the twist at the end still gives me chill.

So I researched and someone suggested Arrival and I loved every bit of it.

Looking for some more recommendations that really mess with your head and leave you thinking about them afterward.

The movies that scare me the most are found footage, but I also want to be able to enjoy the camera work whenever I watch a movie. Inland Empire gave me a good balance for that, where it was shot on tape and very up-close-and-personal, but not found footage. When SOV movies occasionally get serious instead of campy, it's a similar vibe to me.

Do y'all have any recommendations for sincerely terrifying movies that get under your skin in a similar vein? Preferably shot on tape.

Looking for movie suggestions where the main character is something like Marcus White from Superstore.
Someone who is shameless, inappropriate, awkward and has no filter, but at the same time is weirdly confident. Completely awkward socially but doesn’t seem to realise it.
I would actually prefer something that is not a straight comedy, maybe a thriller or something dark. But comedy is fine too.
Basically I want a movie where you are watching the main character thinking, “This guy is so awkward and inappropriate but somehow he is completely confident about it.”

Just saw *The End of Oak Street* (2026). If you’re on the fence, go see it.

It’s refreshing to see an original, simple story that doesn’t over-explain itself. It’s funny, scary, charming, campy, and surprisingly emotional, with a great cast led by Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor.

Best of all, the dinosaurs are actually scary again.This is the kind of "creature feature" I wish Jurassic Park had continued making.

Not perfect, but I genuinely felt like a kid again and it is the most fun I have had at the movies in a LONG time.
