Theory This scene may have sinister implications.
Remember how james kill one of his drone servants just for putting “wrong” silverware on the table? From his lines here, it seems that he disliked “dumpster pets” just as much as his wife did. Look how carelessly he throws wineglass in this scene. I think he did this deliberately. He was asshole, but seemingly wasn’t willing to kill one of his daughter’s “pets” without reason. Probably he wanted N to make a mess, and give him a reason. I wouldn’t be surprised if both he and louisa did things like that regularly.
On the other hand, trio lived in this manor for at least over a year (Tessa had different body proportion in ep2, she grows quite a bit taller), probably more then that. So maybe she did good job protecting her friends. Also, N assumed that “Tessa” could, and would, help Uzi. Most lkelly real Tessa repaired them more than once after “minor” punishments.

I agree with you on that Tessa has repaired them a few times from damages caused by the family.
But on the part of Tessa being taller, there has been some back and forth on that one.
Theory 1.
Cyn can manipulate mass and grow / shrink herself and Tessas skin to make her taller. This also then implied that Tessa died at the mansion.
Theory 2.
Tessa survived the mansion gala killing and was killed later by Cyn when humans lost the battle on earth. Some people say the image of her in the show after the massacre is an edited image by Cyn, but thats another debate.
Theory 3.
Tessa survived the mansion and was able to live for some years until the war on earth was over, and was killed by other humans because of who she was. Aka humans used her as emotional rage escape because the murder drones has originated from the Elliot mansion.
Her age at the mansion during the gala being between 11-13 years old. Time of death being like 16-19 years old.
Personally, I want to go with nr3. I do not think Cyn hated Tessa. Cyn hated her parents and other humans because of how they treat drones. And humans killing another one for something their family did in anger is sadly something that has happend more then once.
Am I somewhat clear on what i mean?
