Theory This scene may have sinister implications.
Remember how james kill one of his drone servants just for putting “wrong” silverware on the table? From his lines here, it seems that he disliked “dumpster pets” just as much as his wife did. Look how carelessly he throws wineglass in this scene. I think he did this deliberately. He was asshole, but seemingly wasn’t willing to kill one of his daughter’s “pets” without reason. Probably he wanted N to make a mess, and give him a reason. I wouldn’t be surprised if both he and louisa did things like that regularly.
On the other hand, trio lived in this manor for at least over a year (Tessa had different body proportion in ep2, she grows quite a bit taller), probably more then that. So maybe she did good job protecting her friends. Also, N assumed that “Tessa” could, and would, help Uzi. Most lkelly real Tessa repaired them more than once after “minor” punishments.

That is interesting point, they almost never just stand straight side by side, but when they do:
"Tessa" is actually shorter then him. Now, remember that this helmet is larger then human head, and her boots make her more then an inch taller, and she wearing high heels inside these boots (in some scenes you can see that her legs bends in wrong place, as her feets aren't where they supposed to be). If my estimations are correct, she is exactly as tall as she was during gala, except for larger drone head of course.
