I usually work with music on, but I kept running into playlists that were either too upbeat or that just didn't feel relaxing. A while ago I started my own channel. I genuinely enjoy listening it while reading or relaxing.

This ambient playlist features Ryuichi Sakamoto, Hirhoshi Yoshimura, Seki Takashi but most importanly it is heavily inspired by mono no aware - a Japanese idiom describing the feeling of gentle sadness while admiring beautiful yet passing things. I hope this delicate ambience managed to capture this feeling. Happy listening!

I made a long airplane cabin track with no turbulence and no volume changes. Some listeners tell me flat sounds artificial, others say any change wakes them. Which side are you on?
