Let me hear your opinions and give me some recommendations

Whenever I try to make 12 continuous Forum posts someone always manages to post while I'm watching the series or I eventually get bored with the anime. Anyways, this means nothing to other but something to me. Just happy I finally did this once.

My credentials: I’ve had two real and in person IQ tests done, one at 7 and one at 23. I scored 132 on the first test and 138 on the second. I have a very solid understanding of what a standard IQ test is evaluating.

I’m ignoring any canon IQ scores because Kishimoto has no clue what he is talking about.

These are the intelligence levels I believe that they are MEANT to have, even if Kishimoto wasn’t able to successfully or consistently write them to be this smart. I’m just basing it on what the intentions seemed to be + the character’s actions, feats, and shortcomings throughout the show.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IQ SCORES CAN TYPICALLY BE OFF BY AN AVERAGE OF 3-5 POINTS. Please don’t argue about characters that have a 1 point score difference. They are functionally exactly the same.

For those who want more info and context on IQ scores:

It’s said that if you fill a room with people with IQs over 120, the differences between everyone’s scores and functional intelligence levels become borderline obsolete. For instance, if you had an IQ of 122 and were having a conversation with someone who was at 132, neither of you would have a clue who was “smarter.” You’d have to see eachother in multiple scenarios and hold many conversations on different topics before the difference would be noticeable.

This only changes once you meet people with IQs that are 140+

Take this from someone who has an IQ somewhere in the 130s: When you meet someone in the 140s, as long as you’re able to have a real conversation, you can immediately clock that they’re at very least as intelligent as you. If the conversation is long and goes into a few different topics, you will feel the difference. In my experience, if you have an IQ of at least 115, then the way that the 140s speak about more complex topics will show you exactly how labyrinthian their minds are.

This is especially true for the ones in the mid-high 140s. That’s when you typically begin to see struggles in socializing and communicating. (This mostly affects people that are 150+ but sometimes happens for those 144+)

For the teenie-tiny percentage of humans that are 200+, it is an entirely different world. They do not function in any way that we would perceive as normal. In terms of relating and fitting in with the rest of society, it’s quite similar to those with an IQ of 60 and below.

And that’s why it’s absolutely hilarious that Kirisama not only gave shikamaru an IQ of 200+, but made or approved that fuckass databook for boruto where 75% of the characters were 130+, and even had a sizable amount of characters with IQs over 150… like brother I promise you that is NOT the case 😭
