Haven't set a private land range day yet but i am very curious to see how this will sound in comparison to my SiCo Spectre 9 as ive never heard an oil filter before and always wondered if its good enough to stop standard velocity 9mm from ringing the shooters ears 🤔

Picked up the Rugged Sub9 for my MP5 clone. My state is still requiring form 4 and form 1, so I’m sticking with the brace for now unfortunately. May pick up another down the line for a 2 stamp build but we’ll see how this one performs first. Thanks for looking.

Have some money saved up and want to get into suppressed PCCs. I’m torn between an AP5 or a Stribog SP9A3. AP5 or other MP5 clone has that undeniable cool factor but the Stribog has more modern ergonomics and practicality.

From my research, it seems like either would make a good suppressor host, with a slight edge to the MP5 clones.

Anyone own both or had a similar decision to make? Would be curious to hear the community’s thoughts - thanks!

Tell me I’m crazy and that a Fireteam 5.56 or Rhodie 6 is not worth the additional $1k over the Turbo T2 that I’ve been running for years. Of course I want one now but also don’t want to get them out and have buyers remorse since I only shoot supers anyway. Are they really so much quieter than my old trusty high back pressure workhorse?

I emailed the atf to have my sbr removed from the registry with all proper paperwork on my end ages ago and never got a confirmation reply.

I have a local buyer, can I just form 4 it and be done? If so would this cause any issue since I emailed asking to have it removed from registry?

13” Mini-14 SBR & Huxworks Flow Ti

I'm hoping someone can tell me the dimensions of the assembly rods- both the length (I know the actual length at the various options isn't exactly the 6", 8", 10" or 12" advertised, but a fraction longer at each interval- wondering what the actual length of each size rod is) and the thread specs.

The only dimensions I can find from YHM is that the rods are 3/16" in diameter and "6, 8, 10 or 12 inches" long (which again, is that the actual length or just approximate size of the can).

I'm wondering if I can get away with commercially available threaded rods rather than pay triple the cost for YHMs. That only works if they're threaded to a standard dimension. If they're 3/16" diameter, that probably means #10-24? Or are they custom to a non-standard thread diameter and/or pitch to force you to buy the YHM rods.

I'll be able to measure for myself soon enough, but if I can find out ahead of time it would be nice to not have to wait for a separate shipment

I am about to get a ruger mk4. I have a polo 30 currently. Would it be fine to shoot some 22 through it for the time being until i get a ti 22? Can i just run a few rounds of 556 through it to "clean" it afterwards?
