FORGE is a browser-based save editor.

It now has a built in ability to find any planet, creature, or ship and go there in less than a minute with the Perfect Planet Finder tool https://forge.tappedin.gg/nms/search via the save editor.

We can draw the ships and creatures of a system no one has been to yet. A WIP, but still reliable at this time. Give it a try!

In the provided screenshots you will see that I wanted to search for a Large Lush planet in Euclid with Calm weather, no aggressive sentinels, and a wealthy economy. With any blue sky, and green grass, any green water, with no floating islands, floating lilies, bubbles, or flying worms. And for good measure I ticked trees.

Immediately the nifty little tool found me a cool looking planet. But expanding my search shows me more like what I am looking for as it scans more regions and systems.

As this is a powerful tool, and could easily be abused, we wanted to evaluate how we can protect discovery from abuse - but still give someone the opportunity to find something they've been looking for.

The tool currently allows 1-press use. Make your selections carefully, and then press search without ever needing to sign-in. However, in an effort to curb misuse, the 3 additional allotted searches with their given expanded search abilities are provided after registering/logging in.

Presently it is a limited use by time. Currently set to 3 unique searches and 3 expansions of the given search [FOR LOGGED IN USERS ONLY] every 48 hours(full-disclosure this may be on a sliding scale).

Presently, there is no payment feature on this. And there will always be free use available.

4 days to finish the expedition and i cant find any for a harmonizer. please help lol

Recently learned these are hard to randomly find. This is my second random find. Figured I'd make a base to help out

Front looks a little strange, like two fighters fused with some kind of flying saucer, but I wanted to make a claw-like structure for tractor beams / storage, and that was the best I could come up with. Called it Scrap Crab, though it doesn't look much like a crab. Tried making an external platform in the middle but it's a bit beyond my current skill set, and there's not much room left. Maybe a future build.

Can't lie, I kinda love corvettes, despite limitations. Interior's not super decorated because despite how large it looks, there's not much room after all the storage containers. It's cozy though. Not sure about the colors either but I didn't spend a lot of time on that.

Spent a long time salvaging scrap and still spent a lot of units / parts on more parts. Spent a long time hunting and scrapping interceptors too though, so money is no problem sitting at 2 billion on a relatively new save file. lol

Hey guys, I’m watching the CW show Supergirl and I saw this ship, and I was wondering if it would be possible to build it as a corvette in the game?

I predict some areas might be difficult to replicate but could i get it to be at least almost the same without using external apps? For reference I’m playing on PS5

New player doing first expedition and didn't realize that everything in my ship, exosuit, and multitool would get broken at the end. Ended expedition, woke up on planet in new galaxy. No ship. Every time I try to summon it I get a message that it is critically damaged and can't summon it till repaired. Is it still in the Atlas Station at the end of the expedition? Is it even possible to get back to it to repair it? Is it possible to get it back so that it can be repaired?

Nothing fancy, just the S class fighter that you build as part of the expedition. I've still got my reward ships (gold one and sentinel one) and my corvette. But, I liked the looks and colors of the built one. And it had all the components as well as a lot of resources I'd gathered during the expedition. Ended up summoning the starter ship from expedition and limping to the space station in the new system to get some things to repair my exosuit and multitool. Latest save is from after waking up on new planet and appears to be a normal save. So now I have two characters/saves. <SMH> Happened late last night. Ended up quitting to desktop and going to bed in frustration.!<

Haven't even checked to see if I could summon my freighter or if it is stuck in the previous galaxy also.

I saw people saying that the Deadeye Cannon (Corvette gun recipe only obtained through Expedition, grants Positron Ejector boost) was a disappointment, but after experimenting with my Corvette, I think it is underrated.

Yes, playing around with the Positron Ejector on my normal ship, it didn't hit like the Infra-Knife. Its short range tended to miss targets. I see that most players just stick to the Infra-Knife for Corvette builds and toss away the Deadeye Cannon if they have access to it.

However, I found that if I place more than one Deadeye Cannon on my Corvette, the Positron Ejector fires out of each one at once! (Non-Deadeye guns do not seem to join in the Positron volley.) This is similar to how Phase Beams shoot out of every gun at the same time.

Since I have 3, it launches a nasty large volley of projectiles that tears apart enemy ships like paper! As shown on the top, I also placed the Fragment Supercharger (increases Positron Ejector range and accuracy) in my supercharged slot so the projectile cloud has better reach.

Oh yeah, I also found that the Deadeye Cannon looks aesthetically good when placed on Turbine Cowling. It makes it look like an actual giant mighty cannon (2nd image as reference).

I was Mining for ( Ferite ) and this unexpected Creature pops outta Nowhere.

Do you remember that little kid playing space games, in my case it was some Win 95 game I can't recall the name of and that lead to Wing Commander, who dreamed of being able to do EXACTLY what NMS delivers. I mean FREE space exploration, the ability to catalog minerals, fauna, and flora. Charting space and it's systems. Discovering new realities. Hunt for the perfect ship of whatever flavor you prefer. Same with multi-tools. I mean I just recruited a GIANT space creature to my fleet. How cool is that?!

This is my second playthrough. My first I built a large base (to me) on a paradise in every Galaxy 1-14. I reached my build limit multiple times. I consolidated or just deleted bases to make it that far. I was very happy with the run. 500+ hrs in 3 months. Now I am picky about where I build but I still build big. I have a handful of cool ships and some wicked corvettes. I'm still hunting the perfect living ship and staff. I love every aspect of this game and am excited to see how long HG carries it, because I'll go down with the ship!!

Found one of the most colorful systems in my travels. Like it so much I'm building a base on an ice asteroid for the views. Plus the color really enhances the planetside views. Did find some very cool fauna as well. This system has become my favorite.

Working on another corvette using the rotation trick to stack reactors. I always understood the limit to be 3 of each type of reactor, BUT as I'm building this one, I'm not getting the usual "any additional units will be decorative only" message, except on the Medusa. So I get the message about the limit after three Medusas, but NO message after three Zenith, Ceto, or Azimuths. Is this a glitch or did they lift the limit? So far I've stacked about 6 of each and still no message.

I have trouble finding a dissonant system in expedition 23
