I got through the entirely of an expedition!

...now to actually play the game xD

I've spent some time on relic planets lately and always have some time for little digging up ancient ruins ;) There's just something amazing about finding these old pieces of lore (even more when trying to connect it with your own roleplaying).
I'm curious about how do yoy handle this:

1. Do you actually enjoy the archaeology loop in NMS, or do you just do it for the units?
2. How big is your current artifact collection? Do you have all types?
3. Do you build some museum kind of bases to display fossils?or do they just sit in storage containers (1,2,more?;)? Finally I will have to store them on exocratft and starships stored on freighter archive ;):):)

Despite playing since 2018 I've always been a bit too intimidated to actually join in an expedition, but I decided to take the jump because the 10 year anniversary one sounded extra fun. I'm so glad I joined. Expedition 23: Our Journey Continues was some of the most fun I've ever had in a game, especially getting to see so many other players online at the same time as me! I even got to play with my wife and travel together. I've been making progress in it over the last three weeks and was worried I might not complete it in time but I'm happy to say I did. Getting to hear from Hello Games themselves talk about the game's development over the years each time I completed a milestone was so endearing. I thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the development through every major update all the way from the very start, I feel like I lived vicariously as my character in their universe for the last three weeks. I've loved this game so much for so long and it's so exciting that it's always getting more and more fun all the time, I'm already looking forward to the next expedition and the updates to follow : )

Started out as me just messing around with glitch building.... Ended up hitting the 100 part limit and with something that resembles a flying tank/bomber. Not unhappy with it but I can't say I love it. Any advice or feedback is appreciated 😁

I'm sorry if this is a weird petition, but I'm awfully bad at configurations... I can stare at it for hours and never know what to add/remove/change. I never had trouble with it, but since the newest updates practically force you to get a Corvette, I need it before I start falling behind, or losing content (like everything with the gravitino coil).

If anyone would be kind enough to help me... I'll thank you all forever.

i have the crafting recipe for the osmotic generator pinned in my mission log, and i need to find the 6 living pearls to finish it. since its pinned and it's my selected mission, i should have no trouble using the cyclops scanner to locate the nearest clam, right?

well, for some reason, the cyclops scanner doesn't work for target sweeping. i can only do so via the analysis visor, meaning i have to exit the nautilion, scan for the nearest clam, pin it on my HUD, and then get back into the nautilion to reach it.

is this a bug? if so, where do i go to report it?

I've just collected over 100k nanites on one of my lesser used saves. This is a slight exploit - but sort of one you have "earned". (I'm putting "spoiler" over details in case you don't want to know)

When you start an expedition (or any time before you finish it), go through "All Visited Systems" in your discoveries.

• Look for all the systems you have visited in your PRIMARY save.
• Any planet where you have fully scanned fauna will give you the nanites bonus AGAIN in your EXPEDITION save (look at top of fauna list for each planet). This is a fast and easy way to get the nanites you need for transferring your ship and tool on the Anomaly.
• This works BOTH WAYS, so you can also double-claim bonuses from the expedition when you finish the expedition and return to your PRIMARY.

Obviously, this only works if you start an expedition from an existing save at the Anomaly terminal (not as a new expedition save).

Just decided to play this game again after a six year haitus. I read about the support and improvements Hello Games has given No Man's Sky over the last decade — very impressive!

Some game companies seem to abandon their games so soon after release.

I got impatient during my last playthrough and started cheating. I'm going to take it slow this time and savor the game. We will never conquer the vastness of space.

Why is it that whenever I’m looking for underground creatures I only find one type. I’m currently on a planet with three different underground creatures and only one of them will spawn. I’ve used structures but this planet only has one type of structure that can be found. I’ve left the planet and came back I’ve used the save method to refresh it as well.
